Meet Kevin Reinoso | DJ & Music Producer

We had the good fortune of connecting with Kevin Reinoso and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Kevin, what principle do you value most?
I believe integrity would be a principle that matters the most to me. It includes things like honesty where you choose words and actions that are sincere, commitment where you set high standards for your behavior and stick to them even in difficult situations. Resilient where you learn from your mistakes and losses; seize the opportunity to improve and last but not least courage where you stand up for what you believe is just and good.

Alright, so let’s move onto what keeps you busy professionally?
I am a DJ & Music Producer, and I simply love it, because not only I get to show and play music for people but I get to show them the music I make, with own sound, it is just magical, Also I believe what sets you apart as a DJ it is not to only play the hits of the moment that everybody wants to hear but to play songs that people did not know they wanted to hear.

As a Music Producer it has been a tough journey, I have collaborated with different artists and producers, I have produced many genres while looking for my own sound and style and lately I truly believe I have found it, where I do groovy tech house but with my Latin roots, it just hits different, and people seem to like it too. This industry is one of the most competitive where if you do not stand out you will not make it. But it is also beautiful because I have been able to travel to different cities and countries because of it. I have met amazing people, with different cultures and backgrounds, you just never stop learning something new.

As the years have passed I have learned things like how to trust myself, build self confidence is a lesson that you need in order to grow yourself and to be able to provide a great show in front of a crowd. I have also learned the importance of time, where you spend it the most and how to be more organized, and I have also learned to always remember why I started to do this in the first place, and it is because of the love for music.

If you had a friend visiting you, what are some of the local spots you’d want to take them around to?
First thing you must do at my city is definitely the beach, Amazing view and vibes, a lot of choices of restaurants and clubs to party at night, then I would take them to Wynwood, show off a little bit of the art and culture and last but not least Brickell, amazing rooftop bars, amazing food, there are just way too many choices, but I would definitely take them to those 3 places first.
Shoutout is all about shouting out others who you feel deserve additional recognition and exposure. Who would you like to shoutout?
Yes of course, definitely my friends, my team and my family for always supporting me since day 1 and for helping me make this career possible. I am able to do this and share my victories with them and that is really what life is about. Would not change it for anything in the world.
