We had the good fortune of connecting with Decory Davis and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Decory, can you walk us through the thought-process of starting your business?
As l look back over the many trials and tribulations that l had to endure, to get to this State of solace in my life. l recall vividly the night l heard the voice of God saying: tell my molting Eagles to live again. Suffice it to say, afterwards l begin researching these words- the molting Eagle. And, for some strange reason the story of the molting Eagle paralleled with my life’s personal story; and, thus the mission begin. Consequently, ever since then l been on this mission to encourage people to rebuild their lives no matter what stage they’re on

Can you open up a bit about your work and career? We’re big fans and we’d love for our community to learn more about your work.
The road to success in my view is paved by many challenges; however, if one is willing to persevere through those challenges and never quit, only then they can achieve anything that they set their eyes on. Nonetheless, one of my greatest assets in my view is my resiliency or my ability to bounce back like a round ball. Consequently, it has propelled me into new ventures like- owing my very own Podcast entitled: Crack the Mic 🎙️ Podcast with Agent of Change Decory Davis. Now, against all odds, l remained diligent and continued recording and writing scripts, even when it seemed as if no one was listening as being reflected in my YouTube channel’s viewership. But, for some odd reason, I mustered up enough courage to continue recording and releasing on a weekly basis new material on my YouTube channel for the past 8 months. And, as a result of my perseverance I managed to land a deal with a local radio station: 1490 WMBM! Therefore, if there’s anything that I’d like for people to remember about my brand is the fact that I never give up, even when the odds are not particularly in my favor.

If you had a friend visiting you, what are some of the local spots you’d want to take them around to?
Recently l had the privilege of hosting for 4 days my Board member Reverend Keyon Peyton from Detroit, Michigan. And, suffice it to say, we had an amazing time on South Beach. We had an opportunity to eat authentic Haitian food courtesy of Chez Le Be Be. In addition, to amazing drinks at Wet Willies on South Beach and the Haitian food, Miami offers great tourist attractions like: Coconut Grove where we were able to visit the Viscaya museum and garden and Vicky’s house.

The Shoutout series is all about recognizing that our success and where we are in life is at least somewhat thanks to the efforts, support, mentorship, love and encouragement of others. So is there someone that you want to dedicate your shoutout to?
Wow, such a great question! Now, to be clear, l don’t believe that no one has ever climb the latter of success by themselves; because, quite frankly, I believe it’s the collective efforts that involves: one’s community, family and friends. Having said that, l’ve been fortunate enough to be inspired by such people as: Pastor Paula White, Bishop TD Jakes and my spirtual father Bishop Herny Fernandez.
