We had the good fortune of connecting with Stacy Alexander and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Stacy, we’d love to hear more about how you thought about starting your own business?
My thought process behind starting my business was to provide additional income for me and my family. After years of financial struggles. Living in the inner city “Brownsville”. I wanted better.

Let’s talk shop? Tell us more about your career, what can you share with our community?
I am Stacy Alexander of LivLavish Creations LLc, where I custom bling just about anything. I custom glam tumblers, crocs, cups and much more. The thing that sets me apart from others is my creative eye, which allows me to create out of the box, over the top art using crystals. As a Preschool teacher, I have always been creative, I love to draw and decorate so why not do something that I love and make people smile doing it. Starting my business was easy but, maintaining it is a struggle, I have learned that you must do your research. Learn your business and the process in which it takes to run a successful busines before you jump out in the water.
I want the world to know that I love what I do, It makes me happy, So when I create a project I put my intentions into what I’m doing to create an aura of happiness and peace so when the customer receives their product they feel what I feel which is joy, peace and happiness. I want to share how I feel in my product with my customers.

Let’s say your best friend was visiting the area and you wanted to show them the best time ever. Where would you take them? Give us a little itinerary – say it was a week long trip, where would you eat, drink, visit, hang out, etc.
There are so many places to visit in the city of Miami. I would recommend going to Honey Uninhibited for a nice cozy brunch and then to Candle Land to create signature candles. We could also visit Wynwood for some art and fabulous street food, finally hit the beaches we are so known for.

The Shoutout series is all about recognizing that our success and where we are in life is at least somewhat thanks to the efforts, support, mentorship, love and encouragement of others. So is there someone that you want to dedicate your shoutout to?
I would like to shot out my supporters, I thank you, Shot out to my sister Christyn Alexander for her constant encouragement. Shot out to my four children who gives me honest feedback, I love you guys, Shot out to my Spiritual Sister Shaneka Woody of Inspiration Customs & More for mentoring me in this industry of creating. Sometimes I get discouraged in my journey and they are their to give me the push I need to continue.
