We had the good fortune of connecting with CJERMAINE and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi CJERMAINE, what do you attribute your success to?
I think the most important factor that I have behind my success and the success of CJermaine Photography, are the ones that are truly rooting for me.

I thank God everyday for those special persons in my life that are always encouraging me and pushing to never to quiet because sometimes it gets ruff but having that support there is very vital.

My clients as well, are one of the driving forces behind my brand, because let’s be honest without them there won’t be a CJermine Photography, so not one day I take them for granted.

Alright, so let’s move onto what keeps you busy professionally?
CJERMAINE PHOTOGRAPHY, is an experience, it’s not just photos but It’s the way I strive to make my clients feel when shooting with me. My clients come first and once their happy my job is accomplished! While at the same time creating life time moments!

I think I’m most proud of myself for still striving thus far, and the reason I say this is because when I first started out in photography the market wasn’t as saturated as it is now, there wasn’t really a heavy social media presence and things wasn’t as modernize and so accessible as it is today. So when I say I’ve really started from the bottom, I’ve reallly started from the bottom! No college degree in photography no mentor no nothing, just a young guy,his little sister and his camera figuring things out along the way by trial and error.

When I first started the only thing I knew photography, was America’s Next Top Model! It’s almost like how Nicki Minaj started out and this is one of the many reasons I stan this lady because she did it from the ground up! No hand outs, no heavy social media hype just pure drive,hustle and passion, so in a sense I relate to her come up, because my story is somewhat the same. I didn’t wake up one day and saw that photography was trendy it’s always been something I loved!

So when persons see CJermaine Photography no that this thing comes from my heart, it’s not just to make money, it’s not for show or trend this is real true passion. So many times I wanted to give in but my passion won’t allow me to and I truly know that this is a God’s given gift!

If you had a friend visiting you, what are some of the local spots you’d want to take them around to?
Tbh, I’m a huge homebody, and I’m the least person to plan a weekend for a friend lol I’m horrible at planning events, (ask some of my friends) lol! But, if I were to plan something for a friend it would go like this……

A movie at fusions
Get an old fashion scorch conch
Bahamar Water park(I love water parks)
Sit at the bar at the plantation
Go out to eat some Asian/ Chinese Resturant

Yeahhh that’s pretty much it I can think of right lol….I’m such a homebody I swear !

Who else deserves some credit and recognition?
Firstly without God, absolutely nothing would be possible.

Honestly, there are so many people I can name and shout-out but the list will be extremely long, but the persons I list today are some of the people who have been there mentally for me, and has always been a driving force when it came to CJermaine no matter the situation it’s always yes with them. My big cousin Dr. Lorneka J Rahming, My little sister Shanice, Robyn, Neil, Calvin, Henry and my creative friends Philip Newton, David Rolle, Kelly Hernandez and my girl Kejuana Beneby. Dee Lightbourn, Shadae Brennen, Shadonna and Gina.

Like I said I can name soooo many others but I’m thinking from a mental Stan point and those are some of the people that Regardless of what it is I can call on them and it’s always yes! And encouragement.
