We had the good fortune of connecting with Deborah Benoliel and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Deborah, what was your thought process behind starting your own business?
A few years ago, I was the Global Marketing & Special Events Director of this amazing beach club company. I had ‘the dream job’ as everybody would tell me. You know, the type of job where you meet amazing people, you’re constantly traveling the world from St Barth to Marbella…but one day, after a rather exhausting Cannes Film Festival, I decided to pause and ask myself if this was it, if this was really making ME happy… Not long after, I decided to leave my career behind to pursue my dream. Life Coaching. Coaching to me is not just another job, it is my passion, my true calling. I am thriving when I’m able to help my clients reach their full potential, when I guide them towards their dreams, and help them become a better version of themselves. Having my own business has allowed me to navigate freely between being a wife to my husband, a mom to my two amazing daughters and a coach to my clients. Having a more balanced life and living my dream fully has set the stage for happiness and success in my life.

Can you give our readers an introduction to your business? Maybe you can share a bit about what you do and what sets you apart from others?
I was born and raised in Paris and moved to Miami more than 10 years ago. I have chosen to work as a coach not because it’s just a job, but because it is my passion, my true calling. With a Master in Business Law and an MBA in Marketing from La Sorbonne University in Paris, I continued my journey and trained with CoachVille, the Center for Coaching Mastery, worked with numerous coaches and therapists. I continuously challenge myself in being able to identify what it takes for each one of us to gain the confidence and strength to reveal the best version of ourselves. Just as I created a life that brings me happiness, I dedicate my time to helping women create this as well for themselves. Do I still experience challenging moments? Oh absolutely, all the time, but thanks to the tools I learned, I can now move through and past them with much more ease and confidence. It feels great! I bring positive energy and excitement into each and every one of my meetings because this is the work that I am passionate about. My clients deserve and are given my complete attention, respect, and commitment…with a French twist! No one coach is alike despite many offering similar services. Our credentials, experience, style, energetic vibe, and our personalities are all quite unique. One of the reason’s I offer a complimentary call is to make sure we connect. It’s important for our values and beliefs to be aligned. My coaching program is for those who want to be inspired, motivated and are ready to welcome positive change in their lives. We are all worthy and deserving of a Life of Happiness. Valuing yourself enough to invest in a one-to-one coaching relationship is one of the best gifts you can give yourself!

Any places to eat or things to do that you can share with our readers? If they have a friend visiting town, what are some spots they could take them to?
I would start by booking a room at the 1 Hotel for us to staycation together! It is close to everything and the vibe is amazing! We would start the day with a yoga and meditation class at my favorite studio Tropical Vinyasa with Paul! In my favorite neighborhood Sunset Harbor. We would then have breakfast at my favorite spot Pura Vida in the Design District – the most amazing Acai bowls, Avocado toast and matcha latte! We would then go for shopping in the flagship stores of the luxury brands of the area and continue our journey to Wynwood where you can find more local designers and fun boutiques like Boho Hunter (my favorite!) or the shops at Vista! I would take her for lunch to my favorite Greek restaurant – Mandoline Agean Bistro to enjoy grilled octopus! We would then head to a Soho House to spend the rest of the afternoon on the beach. Happy hour by the bay on the terrasse of the Standard hotel! Live band and great crowd! Finally, we would have dinner at Casa Faena. Other great spots: – Amara down the Paraiso on the bay for dinner or brunch – 1-800 Lucky for lunch – Joia Beach – Vista – Sacred Space for all experiences – meditation, yoga… – Planta – Zak the Baker – so authentic! – Gee Beauty: Nathalie for a full beauty and spa experience – Budokon Academy: Spiritual journey – mixed martial arts, mediation and yoga. Ice therapy bath! Melayne is my mentor!
