Hi Ricardo & Cristina, can you walk us through the thought-process of starting your business?
As a family, we would go out for ice cream every week. Eventually, the ice cream was just not special to us. We started seeing ourselves staying home more often and buying ice cream at the supermarket. Then, we would do a movie and ice cream night. We would scroll through social media and hear about all these fantastic small-batch ice cream locations. None of which were in South Florida. After doing a lot of research and attending ice cream school, we decided we wanted to bring small-batch ice cream to our community. Our focus is on providing delicious homemade ice cream without additional preservatives, artificial colors, and customer service that is second to none.

What should our readers know about your business?
Let’s Chill is a small-batch ice cream shop focusing on making fresh homemade ice cream. We focus on using quality ingredients, no added preservatives or artificial colors. We have our dairy delivered to us weekly from local Florida farms.

Being in business is never easy. We have faced many challenges, but with a lot of faith and prayer, we have managed to work our way through them. They say if you want to be your own boss, you trade in your 9-5 for a 24/7. The business is a lot of work, but we enjoy every moment. We treasure the interactions we have with our great customers and delight at the look on their faces when they eat our delicious ice cream.

Shoutout is all about shouting out others who you feel deserve additional recognition and exposure. Who would you like to shoutout?
We have a very supportive family. Therefore, we would like to send a shoutout to them. We would also not be where we are today without the blessings of our lord and savior. I would also extend gratitude for our support from the community, local businesses, and loyal customers. Thank you for giving us a chance and falling in love with our ice cream.3
