We had the good fortune of connecting with David & Michelle Perez and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi David & Michelle, how has your perspective on work-life balance evolved over time?
Our work life balance has changed over time. Now with a newborn we have to adjust once again. Balancing a career, side business, and newborn baby are a work in progress but are all very rewarding.

What should our readers know about your business?
Live Media, Inc. is a business that provides public relations, marketing, event management, and bookings for non-profits, athletes, artists, radio personalities, restaurants, and much more. What sets us apart from other companies is that we set our clients first and work hand in hand with them on achieving their goals. We always like seeing the smiles on our clients’ faces when we deliver what we promised. It wasn’t easy getting to where we are today. Our friends and family have continued to push us to aim high. There are many great opportunities out there and we are consistently seeking them out. We aim to provide personalized service to our clients as each client has unique needs and desires. There is not “a one size fits all.” We want people to know when we work with you we are dedicated and willing to do most anything to achieve your goals. If you are happy, we are happy!

If you had a friend visiting you, what are some of the local spots you’d want to take them around to?
Our most favorite place to escape to is Marco Island. We love it there! In fact, that is where the idea of starting our own business originated and more importantly it is a place that led us to meeting, dating and later marrying. So you can imagine how special Marco is to both of us. We make it a priority to escape there at least once a month. It’s a peaceful escape that rejuvenates our creative spirit. Our top favorite spots are Residents’ Beach, Joey’s Restaurant, Doreen’s Restaurant, and Snook Inn among many other places. One can charter a boat to go fishing and go on many excursions like Dolphins Sightseeing, snorkeling, and parasailing, to name a few. We have a brought a number of our friends and family members there to enjoy the scenery and restaurants as well. In our view the most fun and interesting places to check out are places that are peaceful and relaxing.

Shoutout is all about shouting out others who you feel deserve additional recognition and exposure. Who would you like to shoutout?
I definitely would like to dedicate a shoutout to our family for always supporting us and giving us the idea to start our side business. At first we were hesitant but with their constant push they drove us to start our business. Also, a shout out to Frankie P, one of our top DJs. He has been with us since we first started and has stuck with us as we found our feet. He is very talented and dedicated to his work. His work ethic is beyond reproach. We are so lucky to work with such an amazing client.
