I love quotes and affirmations! I created a quote or mantra to get me through my 20’s and now I find myself using it to navigate my 30’s. The quote is “Your Peace. Your Responsibility.” And when I get to my 40’s I will probably still be using it. I created it to remind myself, that it is nobody else’s job to give me peace. I have to find it for myself. I found that we often blame others for our lack of content or inner happiness. We even victimize ourselves when they drop the ball, and I don’t think it’s fair to the people around us. “A stranger is just a friend you haven’t met yet.” As an owner of an event production company and advocate for metal health, living by this quote has filled my life with so many incredible clients, adventures, and deep connections with people I never thought I’d cross paths with. Whew, that was an eye-opener. Read more>>

“When something really matters to you – let it go! Say to the universe: ‘You know what I want. Give it to me in the path of least resistance. Give it to me in the easiest way possible. Give it to me anyway I can get it.’” – Abraham Hicks This quote inspires me whenever I feel stuck. By “stuck” I mean when I want something to happen exactly how I imagine, and it does not, or when I want something to materialize in a specific time frame. From my experience, every goal I set for myself that became a reality, I wouldn’t be able to explain how they came to happen. But I do know I worked toward my goals and tried not to get attached to the final results. When I let go of the HOW and WHEN, I give myself space to relax and enjoy what I’m doing in the present moment, knowing what I want to materialize is already happening. Read more>>
