We had the good fortune of connecting with fabienne vieyres and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi fabienne, what’s one piece of conventional advice that you disagree with?
To answer to this complex question we will have to define what is conventional! What I am going to share with you will be what I think at the moment of time. You will all agree with me on what we went through lately internationally, have been redefining the norms. I think you will also agree that we all have been reevaluating our life with some deep soul searching to reconsider our mental, physical and professional well been. So I will start my answer to the question by who I am, because I think this is crucial to comprehend what my business and my profession can be. To be brief on who I am, are you asking me who I was yesterday, who I am today, who I could be tomorrow…. are you asking me what I dreamed of or what I am fearing of…. are you asking me what I loved or what I lost and the reasons I am sharing this with you, because obviously major reflection of yourself will determine of what our business is… What I will think is subjective about the majority of the conventional advices is that nothing is conventional anymore. We are living times right now which are demonstrating us cleary what i am talking about and to make things even more complicated for you, i will ask you if conventional advices was really significant or just stoping us to create our own paths! Let me explain, every business and industry are following standards and norms. If we are circuiting The existing conventional thinking road, every business activity will have suffer of not evolving, I strongly believe we need to know the standards of any profession we are involve to comprehend how the business is until now and especially if we want to contribute in his improvement. To have your enterprise grow you have to grow yourself. Since we are discovering ourself everyday our business should pursue that path, to do so we have to think out of the box and to do so we have to break boundaries! But again, I am insisting to research all the foundations of the business we are in, not to be scared to develop it and to do so we have to be part of innovation and creation of the industry we are relate to! I am myself using the time I was oblige to quarantine therefore to help me to create the new face of my career which I will share with you in the near future. The last thing I wanted to mentioned with you will make you feel and be alive and help you to drive personally, physically and professionally.

Can you open up a bit about your work and career? We’re big fans and we’d love for our community to learn more about your work.
Damm, the big question! My dilemmas and challenges have been to find the right collaborators and employees who takes their involvement seriously. Since I am obsess with the quality of my work, I need them to have the same level of qualities in their services and to have passion of and in what they do. which will help them to stand out from others. To make my life even more complicated, hahaha hehehe, we all heard that when you are on/reach the top you have to stay on there (which is very difficult when you have so many other talented and deserving professional people in the same field.) But this should definitely nourish our motivation! To maintain this position and privilege, you always have to give back, having people benefit from you and provide it to your entourage, your team, your customer and mainly helping them to benefit from each other. Like I mentioned in a previous part of the interview, I am developing and anticipating the future of my company which will help a certain destination in my industry.

Any great local spots you’d like to shoutout?
I suggest my friend and/or anybodies who will come to appreciate Fort Myers to enjoy a boat ride with “Private Dolphin, Shelling & Sightseeing Eco Boat Tour! It could be private or/ and for a party up to six people. depending of the operator you choose. Many of the people I did recommend it , thank me for it and told me: It was the highlight of their vacation. I will suggest to dine at MAKS Asian Kitchen & Sushi where you won’t be disappointed , the sitting, food and service are great. Before dinner or after dinner you really should stop by and maybe hang out for a long time …at “”Society “” Bell Tower area, a sleek, contemporary spot with a rooftop lounge bar & live music. where I was blessed to be part of the creative atmosphere team with my enterprise. Your experience of Fort Myers could not be authentic without spending a day and finishing it with the beautiful sunset at the Fort Myers Beach!

Shoutout is all about shouting out others who you feel deserve additional recognition and exposure. Who would you like to shoutout?
I have been blessed and lucky to be surrounded with artistic people who are as well entrepreneur. I realized even if we are in very different industries, we all have plenty common grounds. First of all, to stay true to the Artist and Human Being we are. Second, by doing so we still want to make profitable business from it. Third, to be part of the growth of the industry! I would like to mentioned one of my dear friend: Benoît Poirier d’Ambreville. He is a a French stylist/colorist, entrepreneur, television celebrity, and former international top model.
