Hi Luis, do you have a favorite quote or affirmation?
“Never start a business just to ‘make money’, start a business to make a difference”

I couldn’t agree more with this quote. Entrepreneurship is all about making life easier for people, making a difference for a better world.

Let’s talk shop? Tell us more about your career, what can you share with our community?
I am an Industrial Engineer graduated in my home country of Venezuela. I have been in the restaurant industry for more than 20 years working as a General Manager in different types of restaurants. In 2020, I took a leap of faith and decided to open my own restaurant, Mojo Grill Latin Fusion to showcase Latin American cuisine and to share our passion for food. The journey has not been easy and there has been lots road blocks in the process. I have learned a lot in the last 18 months but I am happy to announce that we are finally getting ready to opening our doors in the fall. We are a family-owned restaurant that supports the community and local farmers. We want share our love for food and flavors of Latin-American cuisine with the world.

Any places to eat or things to do that you can share with our readers? If they have a friend visiting town, what are some spots they could take them to?
Tampa Bay has a lot to offer to visitors. River walk in downtown Tampa is definitely a must. There are tons of local restaurants, bars, and cafes. Another great area to visit is Wesley Chapel, an up-and coming neighborhood north of downtown offering lots of entertainment, including the Krate, a container market with restaurants, boutiques shops and live entertainment. The local beaches are a must-see. We are very lucky to have some of the most beautiful beaches in the world.

Shoutout is all about shouting out others who you feel deserve additional recognition and exposure. Who would you like to shoutout?
I would like to give a shutout to my daughter Mia for being our source of inspiration and hard work and for encouraging us to share our love of food with the world
