We had the good fortune of connecting with Adina Butar and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Adina, we’d love to hear about how you approach risk and risk-taking.
The biggest risk is not taking Any risk! If You always play it safe You never grow. You have To be brave And take a leap of fate. There were times In my Life when i risk it it all And when i look back i never regret it. I used To work In Radio From monday To Friday And have a secure Job as a radio Entertainer since i was In High school ( 16 years old) but i left it behind when i moved To a bigger city for university And started From 0 again. Same happened when i sold my first apartament And left my country And moved To Usa for Good 10 years ago ! I risked leaving behind things that i could have gotten attached To just become i always have the fate that my soul Is Made for a bigger purpose And i don’t regret Any Risks that i took !

Alright, so let’s move onto what keeps you busy professionally?
I started writing Lyrics for some famous bands And artists In Romania And also started To collab with international Dj’s ( Edm) as vocalist/ writer. When i moved To Usa i continued
Organising writing camps mostly In La And continue writing alongside other amazing talented writers for other Singers or Dj’s.

While the collaborations and featurings got me a lot of recognition especially In Electronic Dance Music that led to hundreds of Shows ( mostly festivals) all over the WORLd ( Australia ; Europe Asia, south America and Usa ) And 10 years of Touring non stop Pretty Much every weekend I finally decided To listen To my soul more Deeply And create the Music I crave
So this year i finally released my First solo single “Whisper” that just hit 1 mil views on YouTube And i Am super grateful for And working on my First solo album

Any places to eat or things to do that you can share with our readers? If they have a friend visiting town, what are some spots they could take them to?
I would Def take them To dinner at Jaya at Setai Then we would go have drinks at 1 hotel Rooftop probably on a monday. I live close To midtown In edgewater so another favorite spot for breakfast Is little hen And for dinner Amara at Paraiso.
I like sometimes the vibe at Lagniape. Also another favorite spot that Reminds me of Tulum Is Upper Buena Vista

Also another favorite spot with a view Is The Deck – jungle Island

Shoutout is all about shouting out others who you feel deserve additional recognition and exposure. Who would you like to shoutout?
