Meet Aerely Chacon | E-Commerce Founder & Content Creator

We had the good fortune of connecting with Aerely Chacon and we’ve shared our conversation below.
Hi Aerely, we’d love to hear about how you approach risk and risk-taking.
‘No risk, no reward’ isn’t just something I say, it’s how I’ve unapologetically lived. We’re naturally wired to always want more – the next win, the next version of ourselves. But in entrepreneurship, that kind of growth only comes when you’re willing to take risks over and over again. I’ve never stuck to the norm and honestly, that’s been my greatest advantage. While my high school classmates were submitting college applications, I was focused on graduating early and building something bigger. At 18 I moved from Nebraska to Miami with nothing but a vision. At 19 I quit my corporate sales job with $600 in my bank account and no backup plan, just the belief that I was meant for more. That leap turned into my first business. Fast forward to now, I’ve generated well over 7 figures in e-commerce sales by 22. Real growth starts when you stop fearing what you might lose and start chasing what you could gain.

Can you give our readers an introduction to your business? Maybe you can share a bit about what you do and what sets you apart from others?
Everything I’ve ever done has been rooted in one thing: understanding people. That’s what made me fall in love with e-commerce. I realized early on that selling online isn’t about pushing products, it’s about making people feel seen. I built my first brand by tapping into real emotions, real problems, and creating solutions that resonated. That led me to managing content strategy and social media for other brands. Now I’m also focused on building my social media personal brand that speaks to the women I want to inspire. I didn’t take the traditional college route, so everything I know I learned through experience. If my story shows anything, it’s that you don’t need the perfect plan, you just need the courage to start.
Let’s say your best friend was visiting the area and you wanted to show them the best time ever. Where would you take them? Give us a little itinerary – say it was a week long trip, where would you eat, drink, visit, hang out, etc.
The hotels and restaurants on the beach just hit different! My husband and I recently stayed at Nobu, it was the perfect little staycation. We had oceanside service at the cabanas, relaxed all day at the spa, and dinner by the water. Places like The Setai, Carbone, Nobu, and Soho House are always a go-to when you want something elevated but still chill.

The Shoutout series is all about recognizing that our success and where we are in life is at least somewhat thanks to the efforts, support, mentorship, love and encouragement of others. So is there someone that you want to dedicate your shoutout to?
My shoutout goes to my parents, Ana Castillo and Jose Chacon. All you really need in this game is one person who believes in you, I was lucky enough to have two. I grew up hearing stories about how my parents immigrated from Mexico to the U.S. with less than $1,000 and a vision to build a better life for our family. They raised me to be relentless and to never wait for a handout. So when I told them I was moving to Miami at 18, they didn’t fully understand. But I reminded them, I’m just simply continuing the legacy that they started.
