We had the good fortune of connecting with Alejandro Pou and we’ve shared our conversation below.
Hi Alejandro, how do you define success?
Success is happiness and satisfaction within and while maximizing your capabilities.
Let’s talk shop? Tell us more about your career, what can you share with our community?
The decision to commit to this vision and taking on this responsibility is a culmination of passion, the platform my accomplishments have provided and the responsibility of ‘paying it forward’. When second chances are no longer an option, passing down prior experiences and knowledge with the next generation and those chasing the same dreams becomes invaluable. Coaching and teaching is a tremendous tool to motivating and inspiring the younger generation to ensure that informed decisions are attainable.
Any places to eat or things to do that you can share with our readers? If they have a friend visiting town, what are some spots they could take them to?
Outdoors! In South Florida we are blessed being sandwiched between the Everglades, Biscayne Bay and the ocean with picturesque year round weather. There is an abundance of locations to satisfy ones palate while stimulating the senses with all the flora and fauna South Florida offers. Our families favorite hangout spots include watching the sun set/rise in the Florida Keys, Miami Beaches, Key Biscayne, Coconut Grove, Big Cypress and Everglades National Parks.
Shoutout is all about shouting out others who you feel deserve additional recognition and exposure. Who would you like to shoutout?
Our programs partners which include Miami-Dade County Public Schools, The City of South Miami’s Community Center, the Univeristy of Miami, the 5000 Role Models, the Everglades Foundation, Coral Gables Community Foundation, The Children’s Trust, Monat Gratitude, Shake-A-Leg Miami, Coral Gables and Brickell Rotary Club and all the volunteers and children that make our work so motivating and rewarding!
