We had the good fortune of connecting with ALEXANDRE ESCOBAR and we’ve shared our conversation below.
Hi ALEXANDRE, how has your work-life balance changed over time?
My balance has changed over the years. It is important to understand our limits and respect them. Sometimes we want to work more because we think that what we have is not enough but over time we understand that it is time to rest, to live and come back with more energy to create good quality projects. When I’m working, I work hard to deliver the best project possible, but now I know when to take a break, breathe and enjoy my personal life, so this affects the positivity in my work.
Can you give our readers an introduction to your business? Maybe you can share a bit about what you do and what sets you apart from others?
I worked as an interior designer in Brazil and in Miami I started all over again. I saw an opportunity here to grow my career with my style and bring my knowledge to my clients. When you pay attention to what clients want for their homes/apartments, the project has great potential to be what clients expected.
Any places to eat or things to do that you can share with our readers? If they have a friend visiting town, what are some spots they could take them to?
I would take them to Búzios in Brazil, there are some good restaurants with good seafood and drinks. During the day, take a boat trip to the islands close to the city, allowing you to enjoy a beautiful sunny day and go diving in the sea.
Shoutout is all about shouting out others who you feel deserve additional recognition and exposure. Who would you like to shoutout?
My family, they are really important in my life. I’m here today because they always supported me with their love and made me feel strong, showing me that I was on the right path as a person and professional.
