We had the good fortune of connecting with Alexia Young and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi aAlexia, every day, we about how much execution matters, but we think ideas matter as well. How did you come up with the idea for your business?
Where do I even begin? I created my brand Haus De Reina with a passion to create a one of a kind shopping experience for all women. I had a strong desire to create a site where women of all shapes, ages, sizes, and budgets can find their dream outfit!
I knew I wanted to create a place where you can get fashion obtainable to ANYONE, because any girl knows that a women’s outfit strongly impacts how they feel on a daily. I grew up obsessed with America’s Next Top Model, Clueless and ALL things girly so I always had this deep desire and passion to pursue anything in the fashion industry. I came up with the idea in 2020 when I got pregnant with my daughter whom my business is actually named after. I knew I needed to bring this dream to reality to show her that us women are capable of anything we put our mind to, regardless of any obstacle thrown our way! I want both of my kids to know they can be anything in this world and there is no dream to big they can’t achieve, just look at their mommy! Besides my love for fashion my kids were my inspiration to officially begin my brand.

What should our readers know about your business?
Haus De Reina is not your ordinary women’s boutique. Beyond helping you look your best, Haus De Reina strives to make every purchase a positive experience. Our top priorities are excellent customer service, exceptionally quick order processing, a vibe you can’t find anywhere else, and a brag worthy outfit. What sets us apart from most besides our fire selections is the vibe and customer service we offer. You definitely can not find it anywhere else.
I am most proud about how far I have came with NO help, NO handouts, NO shortcuts, and no one giving me free game. I literally have taught myself everything I know from photography, graphic design, all the way down to accounting. Everything about my brand has been done by me and only me.
I am where I am today because I refuse to give up and it definitely has not been easy. Building a business is harder than what social media leads you to believe. You don’t start off with 4 or 5 figure months, you build up to it over time… baby steps consistently is the key. I have came so far in such little time and I refuse to stop when I have so much more to accomplish. It is only up from here! You have to fight through the 0 likes, the no sales weeks, and the no one sharing/supporting your content..believe me they are watching and brighter days WILL come.

I have learned a lot of lessons along the way but a big one I want people to realize is strangers will be your biggest supporters/customers. Stop thinking only your family and friends will support you because you will only lead yourself to disappointment when they don’t. Strangers will literally be your biggest fans! Get your brand out there to the world!

I would like the world to know Haus De Reina is a boutique for ALL women no matter age, shape, budget, size, or style! My story is only JUST getting started and I would love for you to join me on this journey of taking over the fashion world!!

Let’s say your best friend was visiting the area and you wanted to show them the best time ever. Where would you take them? Give us a little itinerary – say it was a week long trip, where would you eat, drink, visit, hang out, etc.
Tampa is definitely the place to be when visiting FL. From all the different attractions like bush gardens and places to eat and discover you would have the best time ever! I would definitely recommend going to Keke’s or The main course for breakfast. Choose from shrimp and grits, red velvet waffles, amazing French toast and so many other delicious items! I would then recommend taking a stroll down Ybor to see all the cool shops and historical buildings that are still standing. For lunch I would recommend getting crabs from Mr and Mrs Crabs, Authentic Spanish food from la terresita or taking a stroll in down town Tampa down the Riverwalk to Armature Works where they have a wide variety of places to choose from. Enjoy a nice evening by the water in clearwater or a nice dinner in soho. Afterwards hit the clubs or the casino. Either way you will love everything Tampa has to offer.

Who else deserves some credit and recognition?
Most definitely my kids, my boyfriend, all of my friends/family and supporters. Without them Haus De Reina would be nothing. The way they support everything I do, and just pour continuous love and support into my brand and myself is what keeps me going. My kids give me the motivation to never give up because I have little people watching and wanting to be just like me, My BF is my MAIN supporter I can always count on him to help me with any and everything regarding my brand, my family and friends are always ready to support anything Haus De Reina related and my customers/supporters well they don’t play about me LOL I would be no where if it wasn’t for all of these people!
