Meet Alina Muravskaia | Global Fashion Model, Photoshoot Director, Educator + Bridal Expertise, and Ecologist

We had the good fortune of connecting with Alina Muravskaia and we’ve shared our conversation below.
Hi Alina, can you talk to us a bit about the social impact of your business?
Creating an LLC as a model and pose coach allows me to empower others, not just in front of the camera but in life. Confidence is energy—when people feel good in their own skin, they radiate positivity. By guiding couples and beginner models, I help them embrace their natural beauty, express love, and step into their power. My work is about more than posing; it’s about self-love, authenticity, and creating a ripple effect of confidence and joy in the world.

Can you open up a bit about your work and career? We’re big fans and we’d love for our community to learn more about your work.
What Makes Me Different?
With over 12 years in fashion, I’ve walked runways, starred in commercials, and represented top bridal brands. But beyond the spotlight, I’ve mentored aspiring models, helping them find confidence in front of the camera.
My journey spans global agencies and freelance modeling, shaping my unique perspective on style and culture. I hold a Master’s in Siberian and Arctic studies, blending my love for fashion and sustainability.
I’ve directed major photography projects, including a collaboration at Steinway Tower. And alongside my husband, I bring wedding photography to life, turning moments into magic.
That is my story:
Growing up in Russia, I was fortunate to be the sidekick of my mom, who hosted weddings as a side hustle to pursue her passion for event planning. Together, we crafted unforgettable celebrations, igniting my love for the magic of weddings.
Picture this: on my birthday in 2012, a stranger stopped me on the street, handed me a card, and invited me to a casting in a model agency. Sceptical at first, I checked the contract with my uncle, an attorney, and found it clear and good. That’s when I decided to take the plunge and boy, was it one of the best decisions I’ve ever made!
This journey took me on a global rollercoaster, engaging with agencies in Europe, Asia, and the USA. Through these experiences, I forged connections with global brands and photographers, cultivating a profound understanding of the industry’s nuances. Now, before you dive into the exciting world of posing, ask yourself:
What if you captured your best shoot in a single frame?
I’ve got you covered!
As I grew older, I pursued my studies at Tomsk State University. Balancing modelling with various model agencies globally and thriving as a freelance model, mentoring aspiring models at modeling schools in Siberia and university studies, not everyone can pull that off. I had a solid agreement, aced all exams, and even earned money for my education. But wait, there’s more! Beyond the glitz of the runway, I’m a distinguished specialist in ecology and environmental management. Armed with modern techniques like GIS and ARC-GIS technology, I bring a unique perspective to solving environmental challenges. I’m not your average environmental enthusiast; saving the planet has never been this entertaining!
Long story short, I’m all grown up, dabbling in modelling but secretly dreaming of doing wedding shoots. I mean, who wouldn’t want to be surrounded by all that love and magic, right? Plus, I’ve got this “baby face” thing going for me, which may have helped me book fashion shows, it wasn’t quite as effective when it came to booking bridal showrooms until I hit 24. Then bam! New York happened, and my first wedding shoot was like a dream come true. Suddenly, I’m booking gigs left and right, strutting my stuff at bridal shows, and even becoming the face of Verdin Bridal, a stunning wedding designer in New York! Oh, and let’s not forget about being a representative of Julia Kontogruni’s bridal brand from Bulgaria in the USA. Dovita, the stunning Italian bridal brand, became a beautiful part of my story, enriching my journey with its elegance and timeless style. It was a whirlwind experience that fueled my passion even more.
But here’s the kicker: I had my own epic wedding in France in 2023, complete with 250 guests and a jaw-dropping venue at Château de Breteuil. Talk about a fairytale moment, right? It was pure bliss, and it got me thinking…why should the magic end there? So, in a moment of pure inspiration, I decided to combine my two loves: modelling and weddings. I hit the books, took some business classes, and voilà! My own website was born, and with it, my newfound purpose. I want to be the ultimate wingman for your big day, making it as affordable and magical as possible by being your go-to pose assistant for those picture-perfect moments. Because let’s face it, those photos are the ones you’ll treasure forever, and I wanna make sure they’re nothing short of amazing!

Shoutout is all about shouting out others who you feel deserve additional recognition and exposure. Who would you like to shoutout?
I’d love to dedicate my shoutout to a few incredible people who have played a huge role in my journey.
First, my mother, Olga Kondrat, who supported me from the very beginning. Because of her encouragement, I had the courage to travel abroad alone for my first modeling job—without even knowing English—and it turned out to be a success!
Next, my husband, Charlie Nguyen Kim, who believed in me and invested in my O-1 visa, allowing me to start my career in New York. Beyond that, he has been my biggest supporter, my partner in building our couple-modeling business, and the person who stands by me every day.
I also want to give a huge thank you to Kelly Trach, consultant and author of P.S. You’re A Genius, who helped me shape my vision and build my business as a pose coach.
Each of these people has played a unique and invaluable role in my story, and I’m forever grateful!
