We had the good fortune of connecting with Aliyah Telon and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Aliyah, can you walk us through the thought-process of starting your business?
My thought process behind starting your own business is always be headstrong first. At the end of the day every business can succeed and every business can fail but it’s up to the person that has the goal to achieve it with all obstacles. Prepare and Master what your trying to begin and take off for the ride.

Can you open up a bit about your work and career? We’re big fans and we’d love for our community to learn more about your work.
Well i was on the fence of being apart of even building my own promotional/support movement due to the fact I was in a community that never really was much supportive of me. Yet, going into time I had gained more roots and stems to become the hidden gem that appeared from the ground. Meaning I realized with not having the support it should drive me harder to build a team that will make it happen with or without the money. It honestly took one event and we became a movement that everyone wanted everywhere. This was no where near easy because I had already started building this in the mist of being in a bunch of unnecessary drama that people tried to hold my name to. Me being me I gave the people a run for their money and kept building because the show can’t stop because the next person doesn’t like it that’s just means prepare them to come because for the new series. With that I learned everyone does not have your best interest, every doesn’t care for what you care for. The world doesn’t revolve around no one we all just live in it so make it worth the wild. D.C.B Moves is the ultimate movement you need on your team. If you need a multiverse team that’s can do anything we are the people for the job. You say “yeah” we mean “YEAHHHHH”.

Let’s say your best friend was visiting the area and you wanted to show them the best time ever. Where would you take them? Give us a little itinerary – say it was a week long trip, where would you eat, drink, visit, hang out, etc.
Well that’s funny because my best friend is apart of my movement but i will honestly say Champions Lounge. My Second Mother put me on and I was attached since. As far as food I’m between Bahama Breeze and Flanagans. The drinks honestly come from anywhere in Miami we are home of the parties but there is an improv place in Dania Beach that has the best daiquiris yet by far. My definition of fun is an adventure and there are so many activities to do but my favorite is making your own fun at the beaches. Being explorers at any chance.

The Shoutout series is all about recognizing that our success and where we are in life is at least somewhat thanks to the efforts, support, mentorship, love and encouragement of others. So is there someone that you want to dedicate your shoutout to?
I would love to shout out “DADE COUNTY BABIES” also know as D.C.B Moves. That is my movement I created with my sisters to expand and promote businesses for future success whether it’s events, parties, community service events, worldwide business and many more. They’ve been so supportive of me and my ventures in the world, I can honestly say the assisted on who I am today. My Blasian, Playboy, Darren, Parry, Ms.Kay, and Ms.Jada. Dade County Babies say “YEAAAAHHHH”.
