We had the good fortune of connecting with Ana Hess and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Ana, can you walk us through the thought-process of starting your business?
My decision to start my own business was fueled entirely by my passion. I was motivated to launch a mobile smoke shop and online store because I’ve always been immersed in the smoking industry. Growing up, I was exposed to tobacco by my grandparents, who were smokers. Over time, this early exposure evolved into a genuine interest in the world of smoking.

Later in life around 2018, I began working at a smoke shop, I developed a deep love for the retail world, especially in the tobacco sector. That job equipped me with the knowledge and skills necessary to take the leap into entrepreneurship. I always imagined running a business that breaks away from the conventional mold—one that’s infused with love, enthusiasm, and a clear sense of purpose.

I knew I would open my business with the sole purpose of spreading genuine love and care through our work. I aimed to create something creative and unique, brimming with positive energy that would truly captivate and impress people. My goal was to spark both curiosity and amazement. Every detail and effort put into Awakening Truth has a story to tell.

I want to ensure that every customer who visits Awakening Truth has an exceptional experience.
I strive to inspire people and positively impact various communities.

What should our readers know about your business?
At Awakening Truth we believe that being true to oneself is the key to happiness. We offer a variety of tobacco products for those who enjoy it. Our store is well-stocked with quality products that cater to all your smoking needs. We strive to provide a welcoming atmosphere for everyone, regardless of their background or lifestyle choices. Our mission is to create a community for tobacco enthusiasts to indulge in their passion and be true to themselves, free from judgment.

I firmly believe that achieving anything worthwhile takes effort and persistence. Success doesn’t come quickly or effortlessly; it requires ongoing practice and hard work to truly excel. I got to where I am today through continuing to work every single day…no matter the cost….nothing comes easy. Have you ever heard the saying “While you are sleeping someone else is making money”, find a way to make passive income. This is an advice I would give to others. I’m thrilled to say I am most proud of all the support and love, Awakening Truth has received along the road and I’m extremely excited to see how many peoples lives we impact differently each day.

Life is full of obstacles that you need to confront and overcome while continuing to progress. Personal growth happens every day, but it requires a willingness to face and tackle these challenges. No matter how challenged I felt throughout my journey and will continue to face, I constantly remind myself that I am loved, grateful, and blessed to be where I am at, let alone blessed to be living. This motivates me to keep pushing forward. I grew up constantly hearing “find your tickle” and I never understood how important this simple saying was until I got older and dove deeper into more responsibilities.

I would want the world to know that Awakening Truth Smoke Shop is supposed to be a magnificent place where everyone can find comfort and enjoyment. We aim to bring tobacco into the nightlife scene on wheels, making it more accessible during hours when it’s not typically available. As for the online store, our goal is to become the go-to source for tobacco retail deliveries, offering a convenient and comprehensive service much like a new Amazon for tobacco.
