Meet Ana Kiri | Dancer, Artist, Filmmaker

We had the good fortune of connecting with Ana Kiri and we’ve shared our conversation below.
Hi Ana, we’d love to hear more about how you thought about starting your own business?
Starting my own business with Shuffle Dance Fit was both a creative leap and a personal journey. I’ve always valued freedom, independence, and the ability to create on my own terms. I remember hearing once, “Either you build your own dream, or you help someone else build theirs,” and that really stuck with me.
At the time, I was searching for more than just a career—I was looking for myself. Dance had always been a passion, but turning it into something I could share with others gave it a deeper meaning. Launching Shuffle Dance Fit wasn’t just about teaching a style or building a brand; it was about creating a space where I could fully express who I am and inspire others to do the same. Eventually, that path led me to becoming a full-time dance content creator and video producer, which has been incredibly fulfilling. It’s a business, yes—but it’s also my way of leaving a mark on the world through movement, connection, and creativity.

Let’s talk shop? Tell us more about your career, what can you share with our community?
My art is rooted in movement, storytelling, and transformation. Through Shuffle Dance Fit and my work as a dance content creator and video producer, I’ve built a platform that fuses physical expression with emotional release—helping others reconnect with themselves through dance. What truly sets me apart isn’t just the technique, but the intention behind it. I don’t just teach steps; I aim to inspire confidence, joy, and authenticity.
Over time, my creative journey has expanded far beyond dance. Today, I also make films, paint, write music, and perform. I’ve always felt a deep connection to all forms of art, and I’ve never believed in limiting myself to one lane. Why should we have to choose just one way to express ourselves? I believe you can do it all—and do it fully.
One of the greatest lessons I’ve learned along the way is that self-belief and consistency matter far more than waiting for the perfect moment. Growth doesn’t happen in theory; it happens in action. If there’s one message I hope to share through my work, it’s this: You don’t have to fit into a box to succeed. You can carve out your own path—even if it’s unconventional, even if it’s messy. My brand is about showing up as your whole self and creating space for others to do the same.

Let’s say your best friend was visiting the area and you wanted to show them the best time ever. Where would you take them? Give us a little itinerary – say it was a week long trip, where would you eat, drink, visit, hang out, etc.
Since I live in Miami, the first thing I’d want to share is the magic of the beach. The turquoise waters, the soft sand, the way the palm trees sway in the breeze—there’s nothing quite like soaking up the sun and taking a swim here. It’s essential Miami.
One of the must-do experiences would be boating. You can’t truly understand the spirit of Miami until you see it from the water. Cruising through the bay gives you a completely different perspective—it’s breathtaking. If we’re lucky, we might even spot dolphins or sea turtles. And if we’re feeling adventurous, maybe we’d head to the famous Raccoon Island to see the adorable raccoons lounging on the shore. It’s like stepping into another world.
We’d definitely explore Wynwood and Coral Gables—two of my favorite neighborhoods. Wynwood is vibrant and edgy, filled with street art, cool galleries, and an incredible creative energy. Coral Gables, on the other hand, is elegant and historic. I’d take my friend to the Coral Castle and the beautiful Vizcaya Museum and Gardens—they’re both full of mystery, romance, and that old Florida charm.
No Miami trip is complete without a little sports excitement, so we’d catch a Miami Heat game for sure—the energy in that arena is unreal. And to top it all off, we’d have dinner at my favorite restaurant, LPM. The food, the atmosphere, the entire experience—it’s a perfect way to end a magical week.
Miami is more than a destination—it’s a feeling. And I’d want my best friend to leave with their heart full of sunshine, creativity, and unforgettable memories.

Shoutout is all about shouting out others who you feel deserve additional recognition and exposure. Who would you like to shoutout?
Everything I do, I owe in large part to my mother. She is the person who shaped me into who I am today. From a young age, she instilled in me the belief that anything is possible if you’re willing to work for it, and she gave me the courage to chase my dreams without fear. Her love made me feel safe; her strength made me feel fearless. I carry her words and her spirit with me in everything I create.
