Meet Naz De La Rosa | Certified Life & Spiritual Coach, Author, Podcast Host

We had the good fortune of connecting with Naz De La Rosa and we’ve shared our conversation below.
Hi Naz, can you walk us through the thought-process of starting your business?
There was no real thought process. I make intuitive decisions and starting my business was another one of those intuitive decisions. I got a feeling it was the next right step and ever since I have only been taking the next right step in front of me based on what I feel.
Historically speaking, the greatest inventions, businesses and ideas were never born from a thought, they were born when someone had a gut instinct about something and it lit a fire in them. That’s how Believe It Life Coaching was born: I felt it and it lit a fire in me that has been burning ever since.
What should our readers know about your business?
I’m so proud of my business because it is a testament to how showing up for your dreams and taking scary risks really does work. The road to get here was not easy – I’ve cried multiple times and I think any entrepreneur who says they haven’t is lying! The road of being a business owner and entrepreneur is filled with high highs and l-o-w lows, but in the end faith in your business keeps you going. For me, as a life coach and spiritual mentor, what has helped is this:
“The idea was planted in my heart for a reason and I’ll keep working and enjoying watering it.”
You have to have faith peppered in everything you do. It took faith to leave a steady job, steady income, health insurance, medical and dental benefits, paid days off, holidays and so much more, but I had faith. My brand is about faith, it’s about working with energy and it’s about following everything but your mind. I want people to regain their confidence in themselves and in their gut instincts.
Any places to eat or things to do that you can share with our readers? If they have a friend visiting town, what are some spots they could take them to?
I’m probably going to say the most Miami thing ever, but if I want my friends to get a taste of the real Miami, I’m taking them to Flannigan’s! The year-round green lights, the smell, the unbeatable deals – it’s a no-brainer!
I’d also take them to the beach at Key Biscayne and ensured they got a taste of the Miami comedy scene. Laughter at places like Redbar, Taurus and the Miami Improv are a must.
Shoutout is all about shouting out others who you feel deserve additional recognition and exposure. Who would you like to shoutout?
There have been so many people who have given me opportunities to succeed and who have put their time, trust and investments in me. At the top of the list I really have to recognize my clients. They are so resilient, so amazing and they teach me so much about the power we have as individuals to do what seems impossible.
I’d also be remiss if I didn’t mention Chris Olsen and Julie Burton from PublishHer Press – the two incredible individuals who helped me become a published author at the end of last year. They recognized my story and published a piece of it in the anthology book Her Path Forward. In doing so, they made my life-long dream of becoming a published author a reality. So a huge shoutout to them!
