Meet Angelina Rosario: Inspirational Speaker

We had the good fortune of connecting with Angelina Rosario and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Angelina, we’d love to start by asking you about lessons learned. Is there a lesson you can share with us?
Stay in your lane! You need to know your niche and your mission, but never start your business because it is the newest trend or to make quick money. Go after your purpose, so when tough times arrive, your “why” will keep you going. 

Can you open up a bit about your work and career? We’re big fans and we’d love for our community to learn more about your work.
What sets me apart is my authenticity and willingness to do the impossible. I’m continually working on self-growth and surrounding myself with people who are 20 feet ahead of where I want to be in the near future. Where I am now in life did not come easy. I had to overcome many challenges but managed to use it all to lead me into success. I was raised in the projects in Miami, Florida, in a neighborhood called Liberty City with a single mom and two sisters. I’ve overcome heartbreak six years ago and recently recovering from a tumor in my face the size of a baseball. I’ve undergone four major surgeries in the past four years, removing five teeth and removing a nerve and bone from my right hip, which left me barely walking for one month, but I didn’t allow obstacles to make me lose sight of my purpose. When odds stacked against me, I was determined not to let conditions stop me from achieving my goals and using my pain towards a purpose. I decided to face my fears and tears and step into my mission. I am a Director of Sales at CMG Miami, certified IPEC coach, author, and speaker. I’ve influenced thousands of women by teaching them that trials and setbacks are their secret weapons to achieve success and become their best version. I recently released my new book on Amazon and Barnes & Noble, “Thank You for Walking Away- How To Overcome Life’s Challenges And Discover Your Purpose.” I’m also launching a mastermind coaching program in March- “Pain Into Purpose University” to give the tools I’ve applied that led me to success.​

Let’s say your best friend was visiting the area and you wanted to show them the best time ever. Where would you take them? Give us a little itinerary – say it was a week long trip, where would you eat, drink, visit, hang out, etc.
I would take my friend to Bali for a spiritual retreat, including yoga, meditation, visiting a Shaman, and taking an excellent tour of the different waterfalls. We would also enjoy the organic foods, smoothies, stop for coffee breaks, and end the evening by having an at-home Swedish massage.

Who else deserves some credit and recognition?
God- definitely shoutout to Him first. He’s the one who makes everything happen that I can’t do and opens the door that no man can shut. I wake up to Les Brown, Napoleon Hill, Lisa Nichols, Earl Nightingale, Jim Rohn, Tony Robbins, and Eric Thomas motivational videos. They’ve inspired me to tap into my greatness and keep going no matter what. Also, shout out to Alexa Carlin, who’s the founder of the Women Empowerment Expo. She created a women empowerment tribe where we can all meet up annually and learn from each other. I attended many of her events; however, I was one of the speakers at the WEX DC 2018, where I met a publisher who heard my speech and was moved by my story and mission. She decided to represent me as my publisher and allowed my book to come to fruition. A lifetime dream came into reality… Alexa Carlin’s mission has helped women like myself to connect with other successful women to support each other.
