We had the good fortune of connecting with Anna Orlova and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Anna, what is the most important factor behind your success?
The most important factor behind my success is passion combined with innovation. I’ve always believed that true mastery comes from creating something unique — that’s how my “Orlova Championship Brow Technique” was born. It’s a method that reflects precision, creativity, and individuality. Seeing other artists use my technique to win international championships has been the greatest reward and proof that originality and dedication truly make a difference.

Can you open up a bit about your work and career? We’re big fans and we’d love for our community to learn more about your work.
Art has always been my way of expressing balance, strength, and individuality. I believe beauty is not about following trends — it’s about creating harmony and emotion. When I started in the beauty industry, I never imagined how far passion and hard work could take me.

Through years of competitions and endless practice, I developed my own method — the Orlova Championship Brow Technique. It started as an experiment, a way to make my work more precise and expressive. Over time, it grew into something much bigger — a registered author’s work that has been recognized internationally and used by other artists to win world-class competitions.

The journey was not always easy. There were moments of doubt, new countries, language barriers, and the pressure to prove myself on the global stage. But those challenges shaped me. They taught me that every obstacle can become a foundation for something new.

What makes me proud today is knowing that my idea helps others achieve success. I want people to see that art in beauty is more than just makeup & eyebrows — it’s creativity, innovation, and courage to be different.

Let’s say your best friend was visiting the area and you wanted to show them the best time ever. Where would you take them? Give us a little itinerary – say it was a week long trip, where would you eat, drink, visit, hang out, etc.
When friends visit me, I love showing them the creative side of the city. We start with a morning coffee at a local café near the beach — that’s where I often sketch new ideas for brow designs or future projects. Then we visit art galleries in Wynwood and the Design District — the colors, textures, and energy there always inspire my work.

If they’re interested in beauty, I take them to my studio, where I continue developing new author techniques that combine precision and artistry. In the evenings, I love places with live music and atmosphere — somewhere that reminds us that beauty and art exist everywhere, in the rhythm and energy of the city itself.

The Shoutout series is all about recognizing that our success and where we are in life is at least somewhat thanks to the efforts, support, mentorship, love and encouragement of others. So is there someone that you want to dedicate your shoutout to?
I want to dedicate my shoutout to the international beauty community and the mentors who believed in my vision from the beginning. I’m especially grateful to the championship organizations and teams where my “Orlova Championship Brow Technique” was recognized and applied by talented artists from different countries. Their trust and creativity helped show how innovation can unite professionals and raise the standards of the entire beauty industry.
