We had the good fortune of connecting with Annabelle Larancul and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Annabelle, we’d love to hear more about how you thought about starting your own business?
Family is everything to me, and it’s also my inspiration. My passion for celebrating life’s greatest moments is the result of my amazing childhood. I grew up in a large extended family, and there was always something to celebrate. When I became a mom, I wanted to create the same memories for my children, and I that’s when Happi Smilez Creation was born. As your planner and event stylist, I want to create lasting memories for you that your friends and family will never forget.


Can you open up a bit about your work and career? We’re big fans and we’d love for our community to learn more about your work.
Hi there! My name is Annabelle, but everyone usually calls me Annie. I am the creative mind behind Happi Smilez Creation, and Be Creative Content. My brand is based on dedication. We create unforgettable, once in a lifetime celebrations utilizing breath taking event design. We have also recently ventured into creating social media content for business professionals. My businesses have experienced some challenges along the way, but these obstacles have created growth. We are thankful for every lesson we have learned on our journey thus far.

Any places to eat or things to do that you can share with our readers? If they have a friend visiting town, what are some spots they could take them to?
Wynwood is one of my favorite places to hang out. It’s truly one of kind. This spot is full of energy. There are breathtaking murals, bright colors, music, delicious food, and shopping. You can even make your own candles there, my bestie would love it. Next we would go to one of our amazing beaches and sunbath. It’s always so relaxing. Finally, I think we would go to the Guitar Hotel (Seminole Hard Rock Hotel and Casino). We would drink a few cocktails, do a little gambling, and enjoy live entertainment. This place is always an outing filled with all around fun for everyone.

The Shoutout series is all about recognizing that our success and where we are in life is at least somewhat thanks to the efforts, support, mentorship, love and encouragement of others. So is there someone that you want to dedicate your shoutout to?
I would like to dedicate this shoutout to Sabine Dulcio, owner of sdulcioevents, and Michaela, owner of M by Michaela photography. These phenomenal women are great friends, and awesome mentors in regards to the event world. They are so supportive behind the scenes, and have also been my biggest cheerleaders throughout our business adventures.
