Meet Anthony Arnone | Manager of Ruby’s Healing Crystals

We had the good fortune of connecting with Anthony Arnone and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Anthony, is there something that you feel is most responsible for your success?
The most important factor behind the success of our brand and our business is customer satisfaction. We want every customer to feel welcomed upon entry and satisfied upon exit. This goes the same for our online presence. We want our customers to know they can ask us anything and contact us anytime. Our goal is to provide them with an easy, safe, secure, and enjoyable buying experience no matter what platform they are shopping on.

What should our readers know about your business?
Ruby’s Healing Crystals started in a small apartment in Boca Raton, Florida. I (Anthony) had just quit my 9-5 office gig after graduating college and was searching for freelance marketing work. Ruby found me on Craigs List. Yes, I got this job on Craigs List! She asked me if I could help her establish an online presence for her crystal inventory. She had a crystal shop in years past that she was forced to close down. When I arrived at her house, I was not only stunned at the size of her inventory but the quality of each individual stone. I immediately saw the potential.

We hit the ground running from there. I knew we needed to brand this business, and there was no way I wasn’t going to use Ruby’s name! It’s literally a crystal. Thus Ruby’s Healing Crystals was born. It fit like a glove. I immediately created a facebook, instagram, and website. We began posting frequently on all platforms, running ads, doing giveaways, networking, scheduling local events as vendors, and hosting live sales on Instagram. From there we became an official LLC and built our way up to a beautiful brick and mortar location in Boca Raton.

What I think makes this business unique is our timeline. We started this business right before the beginning of the COVID-19 pandemic. As the people of the United States faced tough times ahead, many turned to spirituality and wholistic healing methods to cope with levels of heightened anxiety, restlessness, and stress. Our business really began to take off as people were locked down in their homes. People were searching to find a way to stay positive and uplifted under these circumstances, and crystals were the answer for a lot them.

Working with crystals has shown me the power not only of spirituality, but the power of the mind. These crystals can be utilized in many aspects of daily life. The art of rituals and routines involving stones can be therapeutic and beneficial to almost everyone. Open mindedness and an open heart are all you need to begin a journey to your higher self!

Our goal at Ruby’s Healing Crystals is to make sure our customers get whatever they are looking for. We offer help and guidance, and have extensive knowledge on our pieces. Customers come in for many different purposes. Some have loved ones who are sick or suffering and want to provide a form of relief. Some are searching for a special gift or rarity. Some are just trying to find something beautiful for their living room. I believe that is my favorite aspect of this business. You never know who you are going to meet and what you are going to learn every day!

Any places to eat or things to do that you can share with our readers? If they have a friend visiting town, what are some spots they could take them to?
Boca Raton has some awesome day trip spots and restaurants. The beaches are beautiful. One day would be spent at Spanish River Park. They have a wonderful park area, grills, beach access, canoeing, and fishing.

Mizner Park has a great night scene and I would most likely eat at Calaveras Cantina one night. Their spicy margeritas are delicious and I love their smoked brisket quesadilla. I also love Rancheritos right across the street from our shop on Federal Hwy if you are craving traditional Columbian Cuisine. they have amazing fresh Columbian empanadas.

We would definitely drive along a1a in Highland Beach to see the crystal blue water and million dollar mansions. One night would have to be spent on Atlantic Ave in Delray Beach. I always find myself at Silver Pinball, an “all you can play” vintage arcade with full bar! The owner Rob is a great guy and runs a wonderful establishment.

I would also have to take them to our crystal shop! It truly is a crystal wonderland. Over 200 varieties of crystals from handheld tumbles to cathedrals and crystal trees over 5 feet tall!

The Shoutout series is all about recognizing that our success and where we are in life is at least somewhat thanks to the efforts, support, mentorship, love and encouragement of others. So is there someone that you want to dedicate your shoutout to?
My shoutout has to go to Ruby Johnson, the owner and co-founder of Ruby’s Healing Crystals. Ruby goes above and beyond as a boss figure and is truly a role model for business owners everywhere. She is dedicated to constant growth and improvement. She is innovative, and most importantly understanding. No matter what bumps in the road we hit along the way, Ruby always made sure I was taken care of and never lost faith in our goal. It has been an immense team effort since day 1. She has truly taught me how to be a better businessperson, and a better person.
