Meet Aspri Frank | CEO & Writer

We had the good fortune of connecting with Aspri Frank and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Aspri, what is the most important factor behind your success?
The most important factor behind my success is my faith in God. He has truly brought me through my struggles. I used to be depressed because of everything that I was going through at that time and I honestly wanted to give up, but even though we may stray from him he will never give up on us. One day I was so down and crying my eyes out and I literally looked up and asked him to help me. I told him I will give him all my problems and allow him to guide me I just needed him to help me and he did. He begin to heal me from the inside out. Now I’m far from perfect but I’m so grateful I decided to give my life to him. Also having a support system as well. My parents have been so supportive of me since I told them this is what I wanted to do. They believed in me and have been there for me every step of the way. I owe a lot to them too.

Alright, so let’s move onto what keeps you busy professionally?
Writing is such a great way to express myself. Not only professionally but in my everyday life. I am able to take all my feelings and put it on paper so it doesn’t take up anymore space in my head. I am very proud of how far I have came with my writing, I am constantly looking for ways to improve my skills. I love speaking with other writers and creative people in general. I got to where I am by practicing, Writing is not as easy as people may think it is, I had to do research I had to find what will keep my audience interested and wanting more. I also had to think what is it about my movie on domestic violence that sets me apart from other movies with the same topic. Honestly I chose to be real about the topic because it is a real serious situation. There are some uncomfortable scenes in there that may be hard to watch but I wanted to tell a real story. Some of what you see in the movie are based of of true stories. This movie was difficult because it took a lot of emotions out of me to put in this movie, I pulled from personal experiences and even though it was hard it was a healing process for me and I hope it can be a healing process for others. I have learned that never give up just because someone told you no or maybe because they might not like your work, I know how sensitive of a topic this is but this is something God wants me to do. Even if it touches one person I will be happy to know that I wrote something that helped give someone peace and help them heal. What I want the world to know about my brand is that we want to do things different than Hollywood. I want to give everyone a fair chance at chasing their dreams by reaching back out to my community and helping those that others may look over. I am running my company the way God intends me to run because it’s not about me, it’s about helping his people, his children. I was told at a young age that I am meant to be a light in dark places, at that time I didn’t know what that meant but I do now and I will fulfil my purpose. We are bringing Hollywood to Florida. Someone special to me once told me that we all go through things in life but what is important is how we respond to it and what are we going to do to heal from it. Thank You

Any places to eat or things to do that you can share with our readers? If they have a friend visiting town, what are some spots they could take them to?
If my friend was visiting I would probably take them to the singer island beach, It is so beautiful there and the scenery is amazing. I would also probably take them to Miami and let them see the beach there and do some shopping and eat out at as many places we can that we never tried before and also the botanical garden in Delray beach.

I would like to give a shoutout to my parents Mary and Charles Woodard, I couldn’t of done this without their love and support. I would also like to give a shout out to Ms. Pat, Ms. Anita, Audrey, Arista , Andrew, Roosevelt, Anthony and all my cast and crew who have been with me since the begging and believe in my vision. I am also thankful for all my friends and family who have supported me every step of the way. I am truly grateful for every single one of you.
