Hi Azeem, how do you define success?
Success is a word that holds different meanings for different people. For some, it’s about education and gathering as much knowledge as possible throughout a lifetime. For others, it’s financial—accumulating the wealth needed to support themselves and others comfortably. There are countless individual definitions of success.

When I think about success, I prefer to view it from a hindsight perspective. To me, success means having lived the happiest and fullest life possible. When my time comes, whether it’s at 30 or 105, I hope to have spent the majority of my life smiling, surrounded by people I love and who love me in return.

Of course, to reach that goal, I need to break down success into smaller components—financial, philanthropic, educational ect. I believe the only way to achieve one’s personal definition of success is to blaze your own path and follow your own dreams, not necessarily the ones others lay out for you or claim are the right way.

Can you give our readers an introduction to your business? Maybe you can share a bit about what you do and what sets you apart from others?
Getting the business to where we are today wasn’t without its challenges. Starting a business in the maritime industry involves navigating a complex regulatory environment, from Coast Guard inspections to local permits and safety requirements. Additionally, ensuring that every detail of our party boat met our high standards required significant time, effort, and investment. There were moments when it felt overwhelming, but our passion for delivering an exceptional experience kept us moving forward.

One of the key lessons we’ve learned along the way is the importance of perseverance and attention to detail. In this industry, cutting corners is simply not an option—especially when it comes to safety and customer satisfaction. We’ve also learned that building strong relationships with our customers is crucial. By listening to their feedback and continuously improving our services, we’ve been able to create a loyal customer base that continues to grow.

Pursuing your dreams is often easier said than done, and it’s a journey that’s impossible without the right support, guidance, and inspiration. I’m profoundly aware of how incredibly fortunate I’ve been to have that support throughout my life, thanks to my parents, Javed and Katie Sultan.

My father, who spent much of his life as a refugee, faced immense challenges but never wavered in his commitment to education and hard work. Through sheer determination, he built a life in the United States and eventually started his own businesses to provide for our family and many others through his non-profit ventures. His resilience and entrepreneurial spirit ignited my own desire to one day start a business of my own.

My mother, an equally hard-working and dedicated pediatric emergency room nurse, shared her love of nature and the ocean with me from a young age. Her passion for the water not only enriched my childhood but also fueled my dream of creating a business where I could be surrounded by the sea every day.

My parents are my heroes, and I am incredibly proud and grateful to have them in my life. Their unwavering support and the example they set have been the foundation of my journey, and I wouldn’t be where I am today without them. I love you both.
