Meet Bryan: Illustrator & Graphic Designer

We had the good fortune of connecting with Bryan and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Bryan, what is the most important factor behind your success?
If I had to choose one single factor that defines the success of my brand, it would be: uniqueness. The ability to stand out from the noise by being so authentic, so true to yourself and your ideals that people can’t help but notice you.

Alright, so let’s move onto what keeps you busy professionally?
What sets my brand apart from the rest is uniqueness and authenticity in the way I produce my artwork and also in the way I interact with my supporters. It’s important to be real, to be human, and to be humble. I got to where I am today by pure perseverance. Starting a business is not easy, even if you love what you do and what you sell, it still faces many challenges. Keeping my head up and optimistic for the future has been a huge tool in my success. Understand hard days will come, but the dream still remains.

Let’s say your best friend was visiting the area and you wanted to show them the best time ever. Where would you take them? Give us a little itinerary – say it was a week long trip, where would you eat, drink, visit, hang out, etc.
Personally my favorite places to go and take other to are the underground, alternative bars. Although right now, some of these places may not be so accessible. I would start the night out at a local Kendall spot name Scully’s Tavern, a dim lit gastro pub on Sunset Drive. After a nice meal there with some live music, I’ll most likely find myself headed to Las Rosas bar to grab some drinks, dance and socialize. Las Rosas is also known to have plenty of live music on the weekends. Maybe not so much nowadays due to the COVID-19 pandemic, but on a regular weekend that would be where you find me. I’d also like to mention a new hangout for me and my friends, recently we go to Arcade Odyssey in Kendall. They have a lot of imported beverages, candies and food along with a plethora of arcade games to enjoy. Shoutout is all about shouting out others who you feel deserve additional recognition and exposure. Who would you like to shoutout?
My former mentor and close friend Kevin Deuso of Inked Life Miami, Miami Beach. He’s a talented and experienced painter / tattoo artist. I began my brand at around the same time that I began my apprenticeship with Kevin. He’s taught me a lot about art, photography, entrepreneurship, and leadership in the time that we’ve known each other.
