We had the good fortune of connecting with Bryon Rizzi and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Bryon, what is the most important factor behind your success?
The most important factor in our success with BRP Training is how we strive to build long lasting relationships with our family. Once you are a “Client” and start the process with us, you become our family.

I was always told long ago from my mentors and helping hands coming up the ranks; “People don’t care how much you know until they know how much you care.” We value relationships and community along with Health and Wellness to the highest standard.

Alright, so let’s move onto what keeps you busy professionally?
I’m the Founder and Creator of BRP Training. We are a Small Boutique Fitness Consulting Service in Miami Florida. We specialize in

-Group-“Fit Camps-
-HIIT Classes

*B stands for Bryon
*R stands for Rizzi
*P stands for PERFORMANCE

Performance relates to everything. Perform at your best in Life, in a Sport, or in a Game. Our Goal is 1% Better each Day.

At BRP Training, I developed a 3 step process:

1: Plan It Phase: Everything from A-Z planned out based on a goal, or goals you set, and the discussions we had prior to Day 1 of Training. “Our Assessment”

2: Rep It Phase: This is your program performed every week/month over and over each day with the intention of your goals.

Every Day, Every Rep, Every Set calculated to the smallest detail.

3: Achieve It Phase: Hitting all the small, medium and long term goals we set out from; “The Plan Phase”. Getting you to believe in your goals and achieve them along the way. #BelieveIIAchieve

Our Story:
Started BRP training 7 years ago with a total of 13 years in this field. After this time of working for other brands; I wanted to create a platform for my own brand. 2015 a vision was born. Be the best solution possible and build a community of likeminded people along the way.

What I learned along the way and what I will leave as advice for the next wave of Coaches:

-Learn as much as you possibly can; then go out and apply that over and over. Once you finish there, go back to step one and keep learning, Repeat!

Last thing I will leave you with and what I want people to know about BRP Training:

-We are Real, Organic, and Authentic.

The service we offer is a relationship you can take with you forever. Nothing is too big or small. We accept all the challenges ahead and try our best to achieve goals one step at a time.

If you had a friend visiting you, what are some of the local spots you’d want to take them around to?
I am a small town guy in a big city, so some might not agree with me on this, but:

-6am: Training session with me. Training is a Lifestyle, so you get to enjoy it.
-9am: Post work out smoothie break at Pura Vida Edgewater.
-11am: Stop by Trader Joes or Whole Foods to pack a cooler for the next stop below:
-12-3pm: Head to South of Fifth and South Pointe Park for a Beach Day
-6-730pm fit in a Power Nap: rest is essential.
-8:30pm: I am partial to Italian as my grandfather is Italian, so dinner at Crust Miami. Small spot, but the service and food is amazing. One of my favorite Italian restaurants in Miami.
-After dinner: wherever your heart takes you. That’s how I feel Miami works; it’s a game time decision.

The Shoutout series is all about recognizing that our success and where we are in life is at least somewhat thanks to the efforts, support, mentorship, love and encouragement of others. So is there someone that you want to dedicate your shoutout to?
Well, it’s hard to pinpoint one person but I’ll do my best to share a few if possible:

  • Shelby Head-Rizzi: I call this one the CEO of my Life. The Secret Weapon. My Wife ;). We have been together for 18 years and counting.
  • My Brother: Alec; for the 28 years he was on this earth he gave me a sense of drive, to never quit, and always fight hard for what you believe in. “To be at your best, you must out work the best”; is what he would tell me.
  • Coach Milillo: Saw something in me from a young 8th grader trying to become a Football/Olympic High School Weight Lifting State Contender.
  • My Great Friend and Mentor: Ried Connor: Was my training specialist after College and never missed an early morning session with me. If I needed a short line of advice, needed a ride, a few bucks in my pocket. He was like a Big Brother/Father to me. One of the hardest working humans I’ve ever known.

There are so many more to mention; my Mother, Coach Wiles in High School, Coach Wagner in College… I believe your destiny and future is molded/influenced by many people and encounters. This is what brings your life variety and depth.
