We had the good fortune of connecting with Calli Henley and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Calli, is there something that you feel is most responsible for your success?
The most important factor behind my success is my commitment to my self care. There is no higher priority for me than to make sure every single day I am fed. To be fully satiated and give myself fully to my day I need to do these few things: Pause, Reflect, Pray, Affirm, and Plan. When I make time to be Pause I am committing to being still, not distracted and focused on my own needs versus the needs of everything around me. Reflecting on yesterday sparks instant gratitude- what was I able to accomplish, what went well and what didn’t. Prayer reminds me of who my identity resides in and who ultimately gives me strength, favor and all of my abilities and gifts. After I finish I plan the rest of my day and week so I have clarity on what I need to do and it allows me to serve those around me best.

Let’s talk shop? Tell us more about your career, what can you share with our community?
In 2013 I graduated college and was a nurse for almost 10 years. I traveled, I worked in every department you can think of in the hospital and loved my journey as a healer. When I needed personal healing myself after a 6 year relationship ended I taught myself how to pain (October of 2018 5 years ago) and quickly it turned into a career. Through showcasing, sharing my work on social media, and being a student to the game. After years of commitment my art and great mentorship led me to purchasing my first real estate investment property- a duplex. After learning about the industry and falling in love with building wealth through building my own real estate portfolio I knew I needed to lead and teach others as well. I went through MANY heartaches, feeling torn like I had to choose only one career but I knew I loved branding and marketing myself through sharing my life and my likes. And art and homes had so much in common I knew I could collaborate them! I had a Crazy situation happen in 2022 that made me feel like I had to give up on being an artist after someone came to my art show and pretended to purchase all of my paintings in front of all of my guests- all to be lied to for weeks and never any money sent. This is what propelled me this year to get my real estate license and give something id been considering for years my all and treat it as a profession.

Any places to eat or things to do that you can share with our readers? If they have a friend visiting town, what are some spots they could take them to?
If my best friend was visiting miami I would make sure we went to watch the sunrise on the beach the first morning theres truly nothing more peaceful and beautiful! With our yoga mats and go to pura vida after for juices and avocado toast after. It would be a must wed have a staycation at the Feana hotel is a whole experience- from the spa, to the live music at the living room restaurant inside its a miami must! On Sunday we have to have brunch at Mandolin and Mila for dinner its an entertainers experience!

Who else deserves some credit and recognition?
There are many things, and people that have aided to helping me become my greatest self, including my all time biggest supporter and unconditional lover, my mom Lynnette and of course my biggest cheerleader and finds the positive in any and every situation my boyfriend Earl. But most importantly my ability to recognize these people and create the most beautiful story of my life is God!
