We had the good fortune of connecting with Camille Jeremiah and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Camille, what was your thought process behind starting your own business?
I’ve always been into fashion. That’s been my first love as a little girl. I used to put on my moms heels and jewelry lol. As I got older I started wearing her clothes. She would be so annoyed with me! Fashion week, red carpets, and what’s in season has my full attention! So starting my online boutique made sense to me!

What should our readers know about your business?
I am so proud of making my dream of owning my own clothing boutique come to fruition. I have talked about it for so long that it had to become a reality. Putting everything and I do mean everything together in regard to creating my website, deciding what outfit I want featured, handling the accounting and other aspects of the business. Was it easy? Good question, being an entrepreneur is not easy but so worth it. The reward of having a business and building it to be successful is a reward in itself. I learned so much about myself with being a business owner. Learning what I am capable of doing to make my business successful. Learning from my mistakes and applying pressure when needed. I push myself every day making sure my business is known whether it be through social network or just a conversation with whomever I meet. It takes dedication, patience and drive every day, in which I have. I was raised knowing that the word “Can’t ” cannot be in my vocabulary! I want the women to look beautiful in the clothes that I have. Who doesn’t want to stand out from the crowd and look good doing it!

Let’s say your best friend was visiting the area and you wanted to show them the best time ever. Where would you take them? Give us a little itinerary – say it was a week long trip, where would you eat, drink, visit, hang out, etc.
I live in Jersey, and I have learned that Jersey has really good restaurants! My favorite place to go out to eat so far is Agave. The food and drinks are amazing! I hate planning itineraries because it never pans out the way it should. Being spontaneous is more exciting to me. So, when a friend or family member visit, we usually see what is happening. I kid you not, I check tiktok for events to go to lol. I am definitely looking forward to this summer to see what wineries and restaurants to go to!

Who else deserves some credit and recognition?
My mom (RIP) was my inspiration! She loved looking her best and standing out from the rest! She stood out from the rest indeed! I love and miss her!
