Hi Carissa, is there something that you feel is most responsible for your success?
Carissa Corsi Events is a full service luxury wedding planning and design company. There are five pillars at the very heart of it all; meaningful connections, productivity, creativity, celebrations & lifelong memories.

Our secret to success? We focus on building magnetic connections with our couples before all else! We believe these connections drive the true beauty of life’s celebrations.

To us, planning a wedding is WAY MORE than just coordinating, it’s bringing your vision to life in the most magnificent way and with the ones you love most. We want our couples to feel like they’re floating on air. It’s their special moment to shine and have the most memorable day of their lives.

Growing up in a big, Catholic, Italian family, meaningful connections, life’s celebrations, and everlasting memories were everything. Ever since I was a little girl my family has been my priority, especially my grandmother. She has always been able to find the most joy when we are altogether. Her passion for community/relationships, the power of faith, and finding beauty in everything is my true purpose for starting my business. She is my light, and I strive to be that light for my couples.

Alright, so for those in our community who might not be familiar with your business, can you tell us more?
Planning stole my heart back in 2013 during an internship I had with a professional planner. Since then, I always found a way to stay connected. From interning with a entrepreneur to working game days and events for Gillette stadium to traveling as a marketing presence for trade shows and conferences to working part time as an event lead for Boston Harbor Cruises while in a job that wasn’t cut out for me to now owning / forever growing my very own empire! The journey was REAL.

Our mission is built on the belief that magnetic connections drive the true beauty of life’s celebrations; this fills us with passion. We strive to develop long lasting connections with our couples, while ensuring each wedding is one of a kind.

The most valuable thing I have learned in my career this far is that relationships are key. You have to network, listen to & support your peers. Weddings are a team effort. Vendors are hired to support the couple, but need to collaborate with one another throughout the planning process to ensure everyone is on the same page and the day is absolutely flawless for the couple. It truly does take a village! So yes, I have learned a lot about myself through this journey, but the one of the key reasons I’ve grown my business into an empire is due to the people I surround myself with!

The Shoutout series is all about recognizing that our success and where we are in life is at least somewhat thanks to the efforts, support, mentorship, love and encouragement of others. So is there someone that you want to dedicate your shoutout to?
I want to give a HUGE shoutout to my wedding planning coach Becca Tuttle. This woman is a true MVP. Becca has definitely been a contributor to my overall success, helping me grow each day into a better business owner & planner. Her support means everything to me & I truly cannot thank her enough for her efforts!
