Hi Carlos R., what is the most important factor behind your success?
Without a doubt, several key factors contribute to success, and for me, these are paramount:

-Expertise and Continuous Learning: It’s essential to thoroughly understand your field and maintain a mindset of continual learning.

-Discipline and Organization: Success often riles on disciplined work habits and effective organization, enabling efficient execution of tasks.

-Consistency and Passion: Consistent effort, coupled with genuine passion for your work, fosters resilience and drives long-term success.”

Let’s talk shop? Tell us more about your career, what can you share with our community?
Music, especially electronic dance music, has always been a significant part of my life. From attending major EDM festivals worldwide to the intimate underground gatherings of the past, my love for music served as the catalyst for the creation of Deep Waves Music, an Electronic Dance Music Creative Hub based out of Miami.

Navigating the music industry presented numerous challenges, but by adhering to the key factors for success mentioned earlier, we’ve managed to sustain growth. The most valuable lesson learned is the importance of hard work. Nothing worthwhile comes easily, and true success demands relentless effort. Sustainability requires preparation and continuous dedication.

What I want the world to know about Deep Waves Music is that it’s more than just a brand; it’s a testament to passion, perseverance, and the power of music to unite. Our journey is a testament to the belief that with determination and a genuine love for what you do, anything is possible.

Let’s say your best friend was visiting the area and you wanted to show them the best time ever. Where would you take them? Give us a little itinerary – say it was a week long trip, where would you eat, drink, visit, hang out, etc.
For a relaxing and enjoyable week-long trip with my best friend, I’d plan it as follows:

Day 1:
– Start the day at Deep Waves Music Studios, where we can unwind and enjoy some music. It’s always a fantastic time at the studios!
– For dinner, we’ll head to South of Fifth and dine at INTIMO, one of my favorite spots. A big shoutout to all the staff at INTIMO for always providing the best food and service.

Day 2:
– Depending on what’s happening in the city—Miami Music Week, Formula 1, or Swim Week—we’ll make a pit stop to soak in the vibe and see if we want to stay. Miami always has something exciting going on!

Day 3:
– We’ll take a break from the city and head to the Keys. My favorite spot is in Islamorada, Lazy Days restaurant, where we’ll have a relaxing day and enjoy dinner. Then, we might continue south to Key West.

Day 4:
– In Key West, we have to stop by DJ’s Clam Shack for the best lobster rolls. Guy Fieri even featured them on one of his shows, Diners, Drive-Ins and Dives. A big shoutout to Guy and the team at DJ’s Clam Shack in Key West.

Day 5:
– We’ll make a big circle back to Miami and spend a relaxing Sunday at my weekend spot, The Standard Pool. We’ll enjoy some music, great food, and cap it off with a visit to their spa. It’s the perfect end to a picture-perfect weekend.

Throughout the trip, I’ll make sure my best friend gets the rest and relaxation they deserve, while also experiencing some of the best spots and vibes Miami and the Keys have to offer, always with the best premier electronic dance music by Deep Waves Music and yours truly CPayne.

Who else deserves some credit and recognition?
Without a doubt, my wife has been an immense support in my journey as a DJ and Producer, as well as in establishing Deep Waves Music over three years ago.

I also want to extend a heartfelt shoutout to the 450+ DJs and Producers, spanning over 115 countries, who have entrusted their music to Deep Waves Music and myself for inclusion in our weekly Deep Waves Music Show. Together, we’ve forged a community without boundaries, extending globally. To each of them, a resounding thank you for their unwavering support week after week, and for being integral to this project.
