Meet Carlos Rodriguez | Vlogger

We had the good fortune of connecting with Carlos Rodriguez and we’ve shared our conversation below.
Hi Carlos, the decisions we make often shape our story in profound ways. What was one of the most difficult decisions you’ve had to make?
I think the hardest decision I’ve made is daring to do what I love. Ever since I arrived in this country, I’ve had a vision in my mind of what I want to do with my life, and I hope that one day it becomes my full-time job: content creation. Being brave and pushing myself harder than I ever have before, even though I haven’t yet seen the results of my work, requires a lot of willpower and a strong desire to make this happen so that I can one day make a living from it.

Alright, so let’s move onto what keeps you busy professionally?
My art is the creation of original content, and it’s so much more than just filming and uploading videos. Behind every piece, there’s a lot of thought, effort, and passion. What I believe sets me apart is my commitment to authenticity. I’m not trying to copy what’s already out there — I want to tell real stories, share my view of the world, and connect with people on a genuine, human level.
What I’m most proud of is staying committed to this path, even when results didn’t come as quickly as I hoped. Creating content consistently while working two jobs hasn’t been easy. It’s taken discipline, sacrifice, and a lot of faith in what I’m doing.
Getting to where I am today has been a slow but deeply meaningful journey. I’ve had to learn how to manage my time, how to fail, and how to try again. Social media doesn’t always show the effort behind the scenes, but I live it every day — from waking up early to edit, to filming even when I’m exhausted. I do it because I believe in my purpose and I know every step counts.
One of the most valuable lessons I’ve learned is that consistency matters more than talent, and that silent work eventually pays off. What I want the world to know about me and my brand is that behind every video is someone fighting to make a dream come true, someone working hard to inspire and make a positive impact. My story isn’t perfect, but it’s real — and I believe that’s what truly connects.

If you had a friend visiting you, what are some of the local spots you’d want to take them around to?
If my best friend came to visit, I’d make sure they had an unforgettable week in Miami. We’d kick things off with an afternoon in Brickell, walking around the area, grabbing a coffee, and soaking in the modern, cosmopolitan vibe. For dinner, we’d head to Komodo, which not only has amazing food but also a unique atmosphere that truly captures the upscale side of Miami.
Another day would be all about exploring Wynwood and the Art District — checking out the murals, galleries, and local shops. For lunch, Zuru Ramen would be a must-stop; their ramen is absolutely top-tier. That evening, we’d go to the movies, just to wind down and enjoy a film like we used to.
Somewhere in the week, we’d visit Bayside Marketplace, walk along the bay, maybe take a boat ride, and then have dinner at Bocas, a delicious Latin restaurant that never disappoints.
Of course, we couldn’t skip South Beach — perfect for relaxing, swimming, and soaking up that energetic beach vibe. And if time allows, we’d definitely take a day trip down to The Keys, where the scenery feels completely different, like you’ve stepped into a tropical escape.
It would be a week full of great food, art, nature, and most importantly, unforgettable memories. To me, that’s the magic of Miami — a blend of cultures, flavors, and experiences you won’t find anywhere else.

Who else deserves some credit and recognition?
I want to dedicate my shoutout first and foremost to God, because none of this would be possible without Him. He’s the one who has given me the wisdom, strength, and intelligence to pursue what I love most. Every step I take is guided by His will, and I owe everything to Him.
Secondly, I want to give a huge thank you to several content creators who inspired me from the very beginning. HolaSoyGerman, Logan Paul, Ryan Trahan, YoSoyPlex, and Adrià Solà Pastor have been key influences — not just because of their success, but because of the authenticity, creativity, and discipline they show in their videos. Thanks to them, I believed it was possible.
And last but not least, the book Atomic Habits has played a fundamental role in my life. It helped me build a solid routine of consistent content creation, even while working two jobs. It’s been a pillar in my personal and professional growth, and a major source of motivation and structure.
