Meet Carmen Strong | Success Strategist

We had the good fortune of connecting with Carmen Strong and we’ve shared our conversation below.
Hi Carmen, how does your business help the community?
I help people, especially women, become the best version of themselves through wellness and empowerment. I help them tap into those hidden gifts that they were not aware of .
Can you give our readers an introduction to your business? Maybe you can share a bit about what you do and what sets you apart from others?
I am a dynamic success strategist and career counselor. I am also a health and wellness advocate for the largest online wellness store in North America. I am committed to empowering high-achieving women to make the leap from the traditional 9-5 roles into thriving online entrepreneurship. Having navigated this transition myself, I deeply understand the challenges of making this life change. I channel my understanding and professional expertise, to guide my clients smoothly through the challenges. My unique approach combines my academic knowledge, business sense, and personal experience to provide bespoke strategies that cater to each client’s needs. I help them break free from unfulfilling jobs and confidently step into the rewarding world of online entrepreneurship. My mission extends beyond business success; I am all about inspiring others to live with passion, autonomy, and a sense of purpose. I firmly believe in unlocking the potential within every woman to create the life they love and become the person they were born to be. Getting to where I am now has not been easy and I am still learning every day. I had to step outside my comfort zone. As an introvert, I was struggling with social media and talking to people about what I do. I have learned to ask for help and be coachable and teachable. Having a strong network of people who want to see me succeed was very helpful. I have come a long way from being the person who was told they would end up working in a factory. Hard work, determination, and a passion for what I love pushed me through. I want to see every woman succeed.
Any places to eat or things to do that you can share with our readers? If they have a friend visiting town, what are some spots they could take them to?
It’s Chicago baby! Great food and plenty of things to see and do. It’s summertime so we will start out with Navy Pier and ride on the famous Ferris wheel. Next, we will hit Giordano’s deep dish pizza, Garrett popcorn shop, and the famous Rainbow Cone. Day 2: Exploring the “Mag” mile and shop until we drop. Lunch will be at the Grand Lux restaurant. If time allows, we can take a riverboat tour along the shoreline. Day 3: Breakfast at the Batter and Berries restaurant, bike riding along the lakefront. Day 4: we check out the John Hancock Center observation deck with the “tilt” It’s breathtaking and scary as one side of the room tilts over the city. Concert in the park, and street food from the local food trucks. Day 5: We will check out the neighborhood festivals and eateries; Taste of Chicago. Day 6: See a musical play at the Black Ensemble Theater. Dinner at the Tiztal Mexican Restaurant. Day 7: Relaxing spa day. Salt caves and messages.
Shoutout is all about shouting out others who you feel deserve additional recognition and exposure. Who would you like to shoutout?
I want to first give a shout out to God for sustaining me and given me the wisdom to keep moving foreward. I have a great mentor that I talk to every day. I am surrounded by individuals who are also passionate about helping others. My team leaders from the wellness company I am partnered with pour into me daily.
