We had the good fortune of connecting with Carolina Romanyuk and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Carolina, we’d love for you to start things off by telling us something about your industry that we and others not in the industry might be unaware of?

That pediatric sleep is not solely a behavior problem. Think about it. When you google or ask in a mommy group or read a book or article, ” how do I get my child to sleep through the night?”, what are you going to receive as an answer? A Sleep Training method that works on the child’s behavior for sleep. For example, if your little one ( 6 months plus), needs to be held/rocked/comfort fed and that has to be repeated through the night after each waking, these sleep training methods will only focus on implementing cold turkey of those wants ( the rocking/holding/comforting feeds) and advise the parent to do 1 of the 4 common solutions. Popularly they are known as Cry It Out, Ferber ( or Timed Intervals), Pick Up Put Down, Fading. I find it very difficult in many cases, actually, 95% of my client’s cases, that doing this creates more stress on everyone. As well I have even had to fix a family’s case from when they worked with a previous sleep consultant.

There is a unique way that I have discovered, which significantly decreases tears ( for everyone), protects the mom and dads sleep while helping their little one sleep. A process that gets to the root of the wakings which in turn, creates long-lasting blissful sleep for years to come.

What should our readers know about your business?

what you are most proud of or excited about.

– My Signature Program, The Sleep Trifecta, that has helped solve sleep challenges for over 1,000 families from ages newborn to 6 years old) without using traditional sleep training. It’s a unique system that dives into the top 3 factors that when working together, you decrease all that stress that’s connected to sleep training, crying and over all providing long lasting results that are consistent. All of this through a simple layering approach, that I call the Sleep Trifecta. Where you can watch this Free Class where I talk about how you can get your little one sleeping consistently through the night and longer naps through this system. www.CarolinaRomanyuk.com/Sleep

How did you get to where you are today business-wise. Was it easy? If not, how did you overcome the challenges? What are the lessons you’ve learned along the way. What do you want the world to know about you or your brand and story?

– Nope, it wasn’t easy. But neither is child birth lol. I knew that once I started the process, I can’t go back. WIth every challenge, there is a reward on the other side. Sometimes the challenges are simple and sometimes they are difficult. With each level you hit, there will be new challenges. Once you solve those, new ones will appear. Learning to accept this roller coaster and to have a team to help you is key.

The first thing I did was hire myself a coach. Someone that knew more than I did and was also a mindset coach. I learned first hand that your mind and your thoughts, will reflect the actions you take. And those actions will reflect your outcome result.

Over the years, I have worked with 3 coaches. Each one brought me something that I needed at that moment and been an incredbile asset.
==============================
What are the lessons you’ve learned along the way. What do you want the world to know about you or your brand and story?

– here are my top 6:

1.The biggest lesson I have learned business wise is not only do the work, but it is that when I show up for myself, by investing in my health, in coaches that are a great fit, in friendships and people that only encourage and support you, that positive energy ripples onto my clients and my family. and my kids. It all starts with you, your mindset. What you think is how you feel, how you feel forms a belief or a story about what you believe is to be true at that moment, which then trickles onto what action you are going to take. When I learned this, it was a big eye opener for me.
2. Be resourceful.
3. Never give up. Yes, we do take moments to pause at a point. To grow. In all levels. Professionally and Spiritually. But never to give up. To give yourself time and grace for that growth.
4. To ask for help is a strength and not a weakness.
5. Once you learned a tool that can make a positive difference, go and implement it right away.
6. Knowledge is nothing without action. “Tony Robbins”

My story:

I’m a blessed mama of 2, Awarded Top Pediatric Sleep Consultant Specialising in Gentle Sleep Results, creator of The Sleep Trifecta System, and trusted by pediatricians and over 1,000 well rested families worldwide.

I used to think that life was about climbing the corporate ladder. Coming from a family of immigrants, self-made entrepreneurs and being first generation born in America, my future was already determined at a young age. Pursuing success in the finance industry. And that is what I did for more than a decade working with sharks from Wall Street.

I did not know my true life’s purpose would be found when I became a Mama, who had to figure out how to end strong baby blues and overcome feeling like failure as a new mom and a wife, because my little one just could not get to sleep…

I went on a mission to discover what actually worked and shared my tools and strategies with other moms. When they started to call me Carolina, The Baby Sleep Boss, I knew I was onto something.

Now, with thousands of successful sleep cases, as well as pediatricians using my Sleep Trifecta Method, I’m aligned with my heart in helping families all over the world achieve blissful sleep quickly.

If you had a friend visiting you, what are some of the local spots you’d want to take them around to?
Well, this question is very different now in how to answer 😉

The main thing for me if I haven’t seen someone in a long time, is to go somewhere where we can reconnect again and of course nosh on something delicious. I just LOVE food.

This could be outside, like in a park on the grass under a tree, go for a relaxing walk by the water, or even my home. If restaurants are open, I love going to a new place and trying new cuisines or dishes.

For me, the conversation is key and of course the company.

Whenever I connect with girlfriends, it really doesn’t matter where we are. As long as we are together, there is good food, and we talk about everything and anything that our heart desires.

And of course, all those deep belly laughs. After all, laughing is like a mini-vacation.

The Shoutout series is all about recognizing that our success and where we are in life is at least somewhat thanks to the efforts, support, mentorship, love and encouragement of others. So is there someone that you want to dedicate your shoutout to?
To my husband, Andrey. My biggest supporter and critic 🙂 Thank you for never settling on your dreams and never letting me settle. Thank you for your constant growth and dedication to our family and to us.

To my sons, Ari and Aaron. Who introduced me into this world of parenthood. Whose smiles light up a room. Whose constant persistence and finding solutions when others would have given up. Whose compassion and warmth for others can melt an iceberg. Whose love for learning gets deeper each passing year. You are my teachers and daily reminders that adulthood doesn’t need to so serious. That I can have fun dance breaks and make time to play. Thank you for choosing me to be your mama.

To my parents, my sister, and my inlaws that have shown me unconditional love and support over the years.

To my sleep sisters at the Family Institute. You have given me this opportunity to make a positive change in the lives of thousands of tired parents by keeping the education and standards sky high and of course provide impeccable results.

To my healer, Tamar Daneshrad, from HealingWithTamar.com, it’s been such a short time working together and healing from within, that I couldn’t be here where I am now, without that magic touch. It took me years to heal some aspects that took you minutes. With becoming a calmer and more present mama, wife, and even better sleep consultant to my clients.

To Michael Gordeev, my business strategist. A teacher told me once, “when the student is ready, the teacher will appear.” I am so grateful for your continued support, your tough love, and above all your geniusness.

And to my clients that have graced me with the blessings to become a small piece of their family. And to the tired parents that listen to my podcast and subscribe to my Youtube Channel, “Carolina, The Sleep Boss”, it is to you that I am grateful for in entrusting me, my process, and most of all trusting yourselves and your little ones that you don’t have to wait to be rested and happy.
