Meet Carolyn Moss Kraham | Pampered Chef Executive Director

We had the good fortune of connecting with Carolyn Moss Kraham and we’ve shared our conversation below.
Hi Carolyn, what’s the most important thing you’ve done for your children?
My children grew up watching me build my Pampered chef business. They saw me setting goals, breaking down those goals into bite-sized tasks and checking them off one by one. I truly believe that this helped them learn about structuring their days, setting a game plan for completing long term projects and achieving the goals they’ve set for themselves over the years.

Please tell us more about your work. We’d love to hear what sets you apart from others, what you are most proud of or excited about. How did you get to where you are today professionally. Was it easy? If not, how did you overcome the challenges? What are the lessons you’ve learned along the way. What do you want the world to know about you or your brand and story?
This past year has been the most challenging of times for everyone worldwide. When my business was forced to change from in-person cooking parties to 100% virtual parties, I had to learn an entirely different way of conducting business. I had no choice – it was sink or swim. For the record, this Pisces girl is not a fan of swimming. Knowing my kids were watching, my only option was to take a deep breath and dive in. I turned to my fellow Pampered Chef leaders for guidance as to how to manage a virtual business and I am proud to say I not only survived, but I thrived, changing countless lives along the way by helping them launch Pampered Chef businesses when their other sources of income dried up due to the pandemic.

Let’s say your best friend was visiting the area and you wanted to show them the best time ever. Where would you take them? Give us a little itinerary – say it was a week long trip, where would you eat, drink, visit, hang out, etc.
This is a tough one for me as I am not much of an “out-on-the-town” girl. When my best friend comes to visit after all this covid craziness is over, I will take her to the beach, introduce her to conch chowder and authentic key lime pie, bring her to sunrise yoga on a Sunday morning in Delray Beach and maybe dinner under the canopy of trees at Dada.

Who else deserves some credit and recognition?
In a business such as mine, I have always believed that individually we can do only what we can do and there are limits to what we can achieve on our own, But when we lean on others and work together as a team, we can do so much more. Without my fellow consultants and leaders, and particularly without my team, I would never be where I am today in this business.
