Meet Christina Jerger | CEO & Founder of BONDED

We had the good fortune of connecting with Christina Jerger and we’ve shared our conversation below.
Hi Christina, we’d love to hear more about how you thought about starting your own business?
After having coached hundreds of singles in dating and being single myself, I noticed that the common swipe dating apps made people burn out and exhausted from swipe – match – ghost – repeat cycles. Oftentimes, they were on dating apps without ever going on dates. It was more about swiping and matching that let singles fall into the dopamine trap, rather than actually bringing effort and getting to know their future partner. Deep down singles crave depth and connection, but couldn’t find it in online dating. I realized it’s not about the apps per se, it’s about how tech is built and that’s in misalignment with what is needed to create deep emotional bonds and love. Therefore, I decided to build the new dating app BONDED, the anti-Tinder we all wish existed!

Can you give our readers an introduction to your business? Maybe you can share a bit about what you do and what sets you apart from others?
BONDED is the next-generation dating app designed for real connection powered by AI. We’re redefining what it means to “match” – instead of swiping and small talk, singles go through a bonding journey and create deep emotional bonds. It’s where AI meets intimacy: helping singles open up, build trust, and feel something real again. We have no swiping, no ghosting, and verification is mandatory. Most apps abandon singles after the match, we got the singles until they’ve fallen in love. We create love stories and nothing less.
Getting here wasn’t easy. Building a dating app as a solo founder, especially one that challenges the entire industry model (yes we are bold!) has been a test of patience, resilience, and vision. There were moments I questioned everything, especially when funding was slow or the tech side felt impossible and people were sceptical if AI could really help singles fall in love. But I kept going because I know the world needs this.
What I’m most proud of is that BONDED has already attracted hundreds of singles before even launching, all wanting to be part of something deeper, something real. That’s when I knew we were onto something. The biggest lesson I’ve learned? That purpose fuels persistence. When your mission comes from truth, when it’s not just business but something your heart knows the world needs, the right people, partners, and timing eventually align.
I want the world to know that BONDED isn’t just another dating app, it’s a movement to bring back emotional intimacy and connection in a digital world.

Any places to eat or things to do that you can share with our readers? If they have a friend visiting town, what are some spots they could take them to?
To me, Miami is pure magic! It’s where the ocean meets energy. If my best friend visited, we’d spend our days between sunrise beach walks at South Pointe, lazy brunches at Pura Vida, and golden-hour drinks at Rosa Sky in Brickell with amazing skyline views.
We’d also wander through Wynwood Walls, stopping at intimate galleries like David Castillo or Fredric Snitzer, catching live street art, then pause for a coffee in a mural-lined café. Amazing vibes! What I love most about Miami is its rhythm, it’s sensual, alive, and deeply inspiring. The people here are bold dreamers and every corner offers something to feel, not just to see.

Shoutout is all about shouting out others who you feel deserve additional recognition and exposure. Who would you like to shoutout?
My business BONDED was born from countless conversations with singles who were craving something deeper, more human, and more emotionally intelligent than the swipe culture we’ve all gotten so used to over the last decade. So my biggest shoutout goes to them – the brave ones who still believe in love, even after the swipe apps made love feel transactional and somewhat hopeless.
I’d also give credit to the mentors, creators, and visionary founders who inspired me to bridge the science of connection with technology. I started to ask the right what ifs: What if technology could actually support human connection instead of replacing it? What if we could bring psychology, emotional intelligence, and AI together to help people truly bond? I’m truly grateful for important people showing up in my life when I exactly needed them.
