Meet Casey Hambro | Esthetician | Facial Specialist

We had the good fortune of connecting with Casey Hambro and we’ve shared our conversation below.
Hi Casey, we’d love to hear more about how you thought about starting your own business?
Starting Faceby.case was really a natural next step for me. I’ve always been passionate about skincare, especially because I’ve dealt with my own skin challenges—like hormonal acne, scarring, and maintaining a healthy skin barrier. That personal experience made me want to help others feel confident in their skin too because I fell in love with finding out what works for me and my skin. Skincare is not a one size fits all, so it truly is trial and error.
After gaining almost two years of hands-on experience as a medical esthetician, working with advanced treatments and professional skincare lines, I started to feel confident in my skills and the results I could provide. I knew I wanted more creative freedom—to be able to design custom treatments, create a space that reflects my brand, and really build strong relationships with my clients.
So I found a great opportunity inside a studio in Davie and decided to go for it. I launched Faceby.case to offer personalized, results-driven skincare in a setting that feels welcoming and professional. It’s definitely been a challenge, but it’s also been incredibly rewarding to build something of my own and help people feel more and more beautiful and confident in their own skin.

Can you give our readers an introduction to your business? Maybe you can share a bit about what you do and what sets you apart from others?
Starting my business, Faceby.case, was both a passion project and a personal mission. I’ve personally struggled with hormonal acne, and now scarring—so I know what it feels like to be uncomfortable in your skin. That experience inspired me to become an esthetician and help others navigate their own skin journeys with empathy, education, and results-driven care.
The road to getting here hasn’t always been easy and it’s still ongoing. Building a clientele, learning to manage a business, and finding my voice in a saturated industry takes time and resilience. There are moments of self-doubt, slow seasons, and growing pains—but each challenge taught me patience, persistence, and the importance of showing up authentically.
What sets Faceby.case apart is the intentional, personalized approach I bring to every treatment. I don’t believe in cookie-cutter facials or chasing trends. I take the time to truly understand my clients’ concerns and goals so I can create a treatment plan that’s customized, realistic, and effective. I’m not here to sell people on unnecessary products or services just to make a sale—my focus is always on what’s genuinely right for them, their skin, and their budget. I want every person who comes to me to feel seen, heard, and supported—whether they’re dealing with acne, scarring, or simply looking to maintain healthy skin.
What I want the world to know is that this brand was built on honesty, heart, and healing. Faceby.case is more than skincare—it’s about helping people feel confident and comfortable in who they are. I know how powerful that transformation can be because I’ve lived it. My goal is to create a safe space where real skin is celebrated, and where progress—not perfection—is the standard.
I’m proud of how far I’ve come, and I’m even more excited for what’s ahead. Faceby.case is more than a business!

Let’s say your best friend was visiting the area and you wanted to show them the best time ever. Where would you take them? Give us a little itinerary – say it was a week long trip, where would you eat, drink, visit, hang out, etc.
If my best friend came to visit for a week, I’d definitely plan a mix of great food, fun nightlife, and relaxing beach time. For food, we’d hit some of my absolute favorite spots—starting with Phat Boy Sushi for amazing rolls, then Rocco’s Tacos for great vibes and margaritas. I’d also take them to Louie Bossi for Italian and Moxies for a stylish dinner with a lively atmosphere.
At night, we’d grab drinks and have fun at Glitch Bar—it’s nostalgic and super fun with all the arcade games. The Wharf is always a good time with great music and an outdoor vibe, and if we want to dance and sing along to some live music, Tin Roof never disappoints.
Of course, no trip to South Florida is complete without a beach day! We’d spend at least one day soaking up the sun at Fort Lauderdale Beach, maybe grab lunch nearby and just enjoy the views. Overall, it would be a perfect mix of relaxation, good food, and unforgettable nights out.

The Shoutout series is all about recognizing that our success and where we are in life is at least somewhat thanks to the efforts, support, mentorship, love and encouragement of others. So is there someone that you want to dedicate your shoutout to?
I want to give a huge shoutout to my boss and friend, Amanda, the founder of Good Skin Studios. From day one, she’s been an incredible mentor and source of support. Amanda saw my potential, helped me grow both technically and professionally, and truly believed in me as I built my own brand, Faceby.case. Her knowledge, leadership, and willingness to share the space and opportunity with me have played a major role in where I am today. I’m beyond grateful to be part of her team and to continue learning from someone who is so passionate about helping others feel confident in their skin as well.
