Meet Charly

We had the good fortune of connecting with Charly and we’ve shared our conversation below.
Hi Charly, how does your business help the community?
At its core, Mana Tech is about empowering people. We’re building an ecosystem that gives international entrepreneurs — many from underrepresented or underserved regions — access to the networks, capital, and opportunities they need to succeed in the U.S. and beyond. We’re not just leasing space; we’re creating community, inclusion, and upward mobility.
Through our soft-landing programs, partnerships with foreign governments, and our support of startups from Latin America and Europe, we’re helping to diversify and expand the tech and innovation scene in Miami. We also work with local schools, host community events, and partner with mission-aligned organizations that focus on education, sustainability, and economic development.
Our vision is to make Miami not just a business hub, but a platform for social progress — where talent, no matter where it comes from, has a real shot at thriving.

Can you give our readers an introduction to your business? Maybe you can share a bit about what you do and what sets you apart from others?
Today I’m the CEO of Mana Tech, part of the Mana Common group. What sets us apart is our commitment to building the ultimate platform for international entrepreneurs to land, grow, and connect in Miami. We’re not just offering spaces; we’re creating an ecosystem — one that combines real estate, community, capital, and opportunity in a very intentional way.
I’m most proud of the fact that we’ve created a bridge for global entrepreneurs — especially from Latin America and Europe — who see Miami as a launching pad to the world.
The journey here wasn’t easy. Entrepreneurship is full of uncertainty, and building something authentic — not just transactional — requires patience and resilience. We faced challenges with changing markets, building the right team, and staying true to our vision despite pressures to ‘go big fast.’ What helped me overcome was staying rooted in our values: authenticity, connection, and impact.
If there’s one thing I’d want people to know about our story, it’s that real growth happens when you combine heart and strategy — when you focus not just on what you build, but how you build it and who you build it for.

Any places to eat or things to do that you can share with our readers? If they have a friend visiting town, what are some spots they could take them to?
If my best friend was visiting Miami, I’d want them to experience the real spirit of the city — not just the tourist version. Here’s how I’d plan it:
Day 1-2: Start in Downtown Miami and Flagler District — walking through where we’re transforming the city, then grab coffee at All Day and a bite at Jaguar Sun.
Day 3: Spend a day in Wynwood — check out street art, galleries, and have dinner at KYU or Uchi.
Day 4: Visit Little Havana for culture, live music, and some authentic Cuban coffee.
Day 5: Take a boat out from Key Biscayne — there’s no better way to see the magic of Miami than from the water.
Day 6: Relax at South Pointe Park and have a farewell dinner at Mandolin Bistro in the Design District.
Throughout the week, we’d connect with some of the most vibrant people — from tech founders to artists to community leaders — because what truly makes Miami special isn’t just the beaches or the nightlife, it’s the energy and ambition of the people here.

Shoutout is all about shouting out others who you feel deserve additional recognition and exposure. Who would you like to shoutout?
I truly believe that no one achieves anything alone, and I’m fortunate to have had incredible mentors, family, and communities that shaped my path. I have to first give credit to my family in Argentina, who taught me the value of perseverance, authenticity, and staying grounded no matter where life takes you. Professionally, I owe a lot to the entrepreneurship communities I’ve been part of — in Miami, Latin America, and globally — that constantly inspire me to think bigger and stay connected. Books like The Alchemist by Paulo Coelho also played a big role in shaping my mindset about following your path with courage and vision. Finally, I’d like to recognize my current team and partners at Mana Tech — without their passion and resilience, none of what we’re building would be possible.
