Meet Chelsa Bruno | Owner of The Energy Room

We had the good fortune of connecting with Chelsa Bruno and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Chelsa, can you talk to us a bit about the social impact of your business?

The Energy Room is a beautiful space that brings the community together. We have a 24 unit Energy Enhancement System (EE System) and people come to relax, unwind, and meditate in the scalar frequency. Optimal health does not start outside of the body. It starts within. If your cells are not properly charged, you will experience disease, as opposed to health. Through scalar wave technology and biophotonic light, the EE System gives a boost to the cells of the body. Spending time in this technology is like recharging the battery of your body, giving you more strength, vitality, and energy to thrive.

We offer many night time events with talented wellness practitioners. Our most popular events are Sound Bath, Reiki, Energy Healing, and Group Acupuncture.

We recently expanded our business and opened a full Wellness Center next door. We have a relaxing IV Lounge, Acupuncturist, Massage Therapist, Energy Healers, Hair Analysis Testing, and more.

Our number one priority is to create a sacred space for the community, where they can take care of their physical, emotional, and spiritual selves.

What should our readers know about your business?
The Energy Room was named after my Dad. When he was battling with colon cancer and would visit my home in New York, he would spend hours in my EE System. He used to say, “I’m going in the energy room. I’m getting my energy healing on.” The system made a huge difference in how he felt after treatments. It gave him energy, strength, and diminished any side effects.

When my brother, Blake, and I decided to open a wellness center in Boca Raton, we wanted to honor our Dad and that’s what led us to naming it, “The Energy Room.” We feel our Dad’s presence all the time when we’re at our center. He’s definitely guiding us on this business endeavor.

Our wellness center is family owned and run. People will see myself or Blake all the time at the center. Our sister, Dana, is our receptionist. We take pride in growing this business together. When people visit they are taken care of like they are family.

Let’s say your best friend was visiting the area and you wanted to show them the best time ever. Where would you take them? Give us a little itinerary – say it was a week long trip, where would you eat, drink, visit, hang out, etc.
I absolutely love the beach. Right now I’m living in a condo on the beach. So we would start and/or end the day at the beach. There’s something so special with the Florida sun. It fuels my soul.

My favorite restaurants are Rocco’s Tacos and Sicilian Oven. I am a gluten free vegetarian, so it’s not always easy to eat out. These two restaurants have great gluten free options.

I also love going on boat rides. Being on the ocean and cruising around is so much fun. In Florida, you can enjoy the outdoors all year round.

My kids love the Xtreme Action Park and Shark Wake Park. These are great activities to do with teenagers.

The Shoutout series is all about recognizing that our success and where we are in life is at least somewhat thanks to the efforts, support, mentorship, love and encouragement of others. So is there someone that you want to dedicate your shoutout to?
I would love to give a shoutout to my family back in New York, especially my husband Anthony. When I decided to open The Energy Room, they supported me to follow my dreams. We signed the lease for the center on a Monday and then that Friday, my husband and I drove my business equipment from New York to Florida. We opened our doors for business in only 2 weeks. It was an incredibly exciting and busy time.

My husband and 2 teenage boys are still living in New York. So I travel back and forth between Florida and New York every couple of weeks. Our oldest son goes to FAU college in Florida, so I am able to spend time with him when I’m in Florida.

The dream is to move my entire family to Florida very soon. But for now I’m grateful to have a very supportive family in New York.
