Meet Krystal C. | stretch instructor & spa aesthetician

We had the good fortune of connecting with Krystal C. and we’ve shared our conversation below.
Hi Krystal, can you walk us through the thought-process of starting your business?
The thought process behind my business was inspired by my old job. However, I wanted to create my own original twist. My main focus is to create a therapeutic environment. Although my vision is still in the making, I want to create an original spa environment.
Let’s talk shop? Tell us more about your career, what can you share with our community?
I could write a book about the journey that brought me here today. But to make it short, I originally was a self taught dancer, and I spent everyday practice and stretching. For years I was involved in Afro-caribbean fitness dancing and overtime, I became oddly flexible. It definitely wasn’t easy, and it’s still not easy. I’ve learned to never give up on your dream and it is never too late to start over.
I want to world to know that I am here
If you had a friend visiting you, what are some of the local spots you’d want to take them around to?
Well, if you guys don’t know, I am “soca-Holic” I love fetes, and I love Caribbean music and carnival. If my best friend was visiting, I’d definitely tell her to put on some cute clothes because we are going to a fete! Soca is a genre of music in the Caribbean and it is I’ll certainly test your stamina!!
Shoutout is all about shouting out others who you feel deserve additional recognition and exposure. Who would you like to shoutout?
I would like to make a special shout out to my mother, for being the first to always support any vision I have and every client that has entrusted me with their bodies so far.
