We had the good fortune of connecting with Cheyenne Rodney and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Cheyenne, can you walk us through the thought-process of starting your business?
The thought process behind starting my brand was creating a bridge between Food and Fashion! It is essentially a place where other fashionistas and socialites can find hidden gems in their local neighborhoods. My platform was created to be place where others could be inspired and stay in the loop of the hotspots near them!

Let’s talk shop? Tell us more about your career, what can you share with our community?
I have always been a dreamer so I face a lot of challenges with focusing on one dream at a time. There are days when I am overloaded with creativity and then there are days when I am not sure which direction I am headed. The one factor that has always kept me on track was my love for events and social outings. I love being in spaces where you can connect with other people and learn more about their story. So, I have always prompted myself to be apart of circles that include like-minded people. This allows me to join conversations and projects that aligns with who I am.

If you had a friend visiting you, what are some of the local spots you’d want to take them around to?
If I had to suggest an itinerary for a trip to Miami, I would suggest events and activities that are tailored to the city. One of my favorite things to do in Miami would be going to watch the sunrise on the beach. I would pack fresh squeezed juices, champagne, fruits and snacks then create a beautiful set up on the sand with music and watch the sunrise. It is such a refreshing experience as well as unforgettable one. I would also make reservations for lunch at Santorini’s by Georgio. The outdoor seating is gorgeous and the food is delicious. Next, I would grab bikes and ride through the Wynwood area. This would be the perfect time for photo ops using the local art walls. Lastly, I would end the day with drinks at the Salvaje. It is a rooftop with an amazing view of Miami.

Who else deserves some credit and recognition?
I would love to give a shout-out to my friends & family! They are extremely supportive of my brand whether it’s sending me new places to review or commenting/ liking my post. It means the world when the people you love the most share your content!
