We had the good fortune of connecting with Christina Perez-Gurri Ash and we’ve shared our conversation below.
Hi Christina, what is the most important factor behind your success?
The success of my business is due much in part to serving our community with excellence. As a personal injury law firm, we know that our clients are going through a difficult time in their lives, so we empathize with them. We make ourselves available any time of the day any day of the week. All my clients have my cell phone number and know they can reach out to me without hesitation. What sets my firm apart is our communication with our clients. We keep our communication flowing. Any time there is an update, the client knows immediately. We handle all aspects of their injury and therefore take a lot of the stress out of the client having to deal with any property damage or insurance claims. We follow-up after every doctor’s appointment and see how the client is feeling both physically and emotionally. My business has thrived because of the value we place on our client relationships.
What should our readers know about your business?
Perez-Gurri Law is a family owned and operated personal injury law firm. Our goal is to help victims and their families get the recovery they deserve to cover their expenses resulting from an injury. We value direct, client-focused communication, and have the drive to successfully win cases. Above all, we have compassion for suffering victims and their families.
I treat every client as equally valuable and deserving of the same level of service, attention, and access. It is my professional pursuit to see that my clients are compensated for their life-changing injuries and treated with dignity and respect.
I love growing our firm and building new relationships with other local professionals. I am excited to see our business continuing to serve our community decade after decade!
If you had a friend visiting you, what are some of the local spots you’d want to take them around to?
As a Miami native, I very well may be partial, but there truly is no place like it! There are so many places to explore and enjoy. A sunny day is definitely well spent at Crandon Park on Key Biscayne, you can chill and grill or bike and swim, you name it! While on The Key you can drive down to Bill Baggs State Park and check out the light house. Another great spot on the water is Matheson Hammock park in Coral Gables, off of Old Cutler Road, very near Fairchild Tropical Botanical Garden. Old Cutler has to be one of my favorite drives, you can take it into Coconut Grove where you can shop or dine! Of course, there’s always South Beach and Brickell, but if you are looking for something with more of a local feel, I would suggest checking out the Bird Road Art District where you can have a nice draft at Lincoln’s Beard Brewing Co., and check out the shops where you can find unique plants, home decor, stationery, and shoes, literally something for everyone. Lastly, a drive down south is so worth it. Check out the rural areas of The Redlands and Homestead, and stop for a bite at the Tea Room at Cauley Square!
The Shoutout series is all about recognizing that our success and where we are in life is at least somewhat thanks to the efforts, support, mentorship, love and encouragement of others. So is there someone that you want to dedicate your shoutout to?
Going into business with my father has been an incredibly rewarding experience. I am thankful to have had the support of my family on my journey. Staying connected to church has kept me full of faith while navigating different seasons. I am grateful to have a husband who has encouraged me every step of the way. I do not take for granted for one second that I have been blessed with parents who set me up to win from an early start!
