Hi Connie, we’d love to hear about how you approach risk and risk-taking
Being an entrepreneur is all about taking risks. It allows you to step outside your comfort zone and get creative with accomplishing your goals. Sometimes the risks you take work out beautifully while other times they become your biggest lessons. The art of risk taking is ultimately figuring out a balance between when and how to make your move.

Let’s talk shop? Tell us more about your career, what can you share with our community?
Founder of The Chi Group, a PR agency working with inspirational talents in television, film, fashion, and brands that inspire communities. The journey isn’t an easy one but you have to be open to continuously being curious with an immense desire to learn and ask questions. One of the biggest lessons I’ve learned is that you have to have the courage to step outside the box, dare to be different. Your biggest struggles and challenges will become your greatest lessons. Learn to embrace the struggles and challenges but don’t dwell in them.

If you had a friend visiting you, what are some of the local spots you’d want to take them around to?
There are so many amazing spots I can think of. The itinerary would definitely have to be something that I would cater towards experiencing things that would make an impact on their life. But when it comes to adventures and experiences I love being spontaneous so I don’t think I would plan out a full itinerary. Live as you go.

The Shoutout series is all about recognizing that our success and where we are in life is at least somewhat thanks to the efforts, support, mentorship, love and encouragement of others. So is there someone that you want to dedicate your shoutout to?
The most paramount and influential individual is Sergio Delavicci, actor in John Wick 3, The Equalizer, and Power. His consistent encouragement and inspiration gives me the courage to surpass some of the most surmounting challenges both professionally and personally.
