We had the good fortune of connecting with Courtney Gonzalez and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Courtney, how has your work-life balance changed over time?
Honestly, I’ve learned that balance doesn’t really exist, especially after leaving a 9-5 to become a full-time real estate agent. The structure and predictability that comes with a 9-5 job simply doesn’t exist in entrepreneurship or real estate. Some days require more of my time professionally and there isn’t any set schedule; every day looks different. Now I have to be more intentional and make sure I set aside time for myself. So instead of looking for balance, I strive for harmony. Finding a rhythm that allows me to be both productive and present; in my work, my relationships, and with myself.

Alright, so let’s move onto what keeps you busy professionally?
What sets me apart is my heart for people. Real estate is more than just transactions for me—it’s about helping families build generational wealth, find stability, and create legacy through homeownership. I bring a mix of professionalism, care, and faith into everything I do, and I’m proud of the way I serve my clients with integrity and honesty.

Getting here wasn’t easy. I have always been a hard worker, but I went through a season where I felt completely lost and unfulfilled. Eventually, I hit a point where I knew something had to change. Transitioning into real estate full-time meant letting go of stability, trusting myself and constantly pushing through self-doubt. There were plenty of moments where I questioned if I was now on the right path. But I leaned on prayer, stayed focused on my purpose, and reminded myself that I am exactly where I’m supposed to be.

One of the biggest lessons I’ve learned is that consistency beats perfection . You don’t have to have it all figured out—you just have to keep showing up. I want the world to know that my brand is rooted in purpose-driven service, committed to my clients’ vision. Providing luxury experiences, exceeding expectations & building lasting relationships through real estate.

Let’s say your best friend was visiting the area and you wanted to show them the best time ever. Where would you take them? Give us a little itinerary – say it was a week long trip, where would you eat, drink, visit, hang out, etc.
When my friends come into town I like to make them feel like this is their second home. A day on the sand at Fort Lauderdale Beach with Publix subs and a speaker in front of Rock Bar or a private boat charter with views of the Miami Skyline is a must. Tap 42 or Milk Money are my go-to’s for brunch. And Bien Chido in Plantation has the best burritos I’ve ever had. I love being near the water, even for dinner, so Casa Sensei, Kaluz, or Mastros would be great choices. For drinks, good music and a good time, a visit to my favorite hookah lounge, Shisha Restaurant & Bar, at either their Sunrise or Hollywood location or GhostBar, right across from the Hard Rock Guitar Hotel. I also love sports so depending on the season, it’s always fun to catch a game—Heat games might be my favorite to attend.

The Shoutout series is all about recognizing that our success and where we are in life is at least somewhat thanks to the efforts, support, mentorship, love and encouragement of others. So is there someone that you want to dedicate your shoutout to?
I would like to dedicate this shoutout to my family and friends, whose love and support keep me grounded and motivated. And to my Lord and Savior, whose grace guides every step of my journey.
