Meet Crystal Sherie | Lady Influencer

We had the good fortune of connecting with Crystal Sherie and we’ve shared our conversation below.
Hi Crystal, can you walk us through the thought-process of starting your business?
When I thought about starting my own business I thought about what was important to our lives as human beings (starting with my own life), what was missing from our existence that could make life more meaningful, and how I could possibly bring a relevant solution that would hopefully bridge the gap of understanding to the table.

Alright, so let’s move onto what keeps you busy professionally?
Although I am an artist/creative and labeling me this way wouldn’t be incorrect, there is a better description of who I am because that’s only a part of me. I am a professional. The reason I say this is because a lot of people that are in the same field as I am get a lot of backlash. The difference from a professional and an amateur is a professional went to school to get credentialed. This is what I did and I’m currently doing. So when you see me I have years of schooling as well as experience under my belt. So let’s talk about what I do. I do music. I’ve charted #117 on The BDS Gospel Billboard Charts with a song from my latest album, TWENTY, called ‘Mad Luv’ featuring International Recording Artist Sheila Alexander. I’ve been on a Stellar Award Winning Album. One of my featured songs went certified gold. I attribute the success of my music ventures to being at the right place at the right time. Something I know that destiny has a lot to do with. I would like to acknowledge Troy Wright, Janie Hendrix, (Hendrix Records) Derick DC Clark, Kenny Smith, Anson & Eric Dawkins, to name a few …all who helped in some way educate me and put my feet in the right direction for success.
I am a life coach I went to school as well as achieved my NLP and Life Coaching certifications through Wainwright Global, Inc.
I am an Apostolic-Prophet. I’ve graduated many prophetic trainings and I’m currently in training with Apostle Nona Parker-McKenzie to continue my development.
All of this combined I believe sets me in a niche of my own. What you’re looking at is over 30yrs of schooling and experience that ultimately translates into giving my customers one of the best products and experiences. I like to put it like this. I heard this amazing analogy that describes what I do best. A man saw the painter Picasso at a restaurant and asked him to paint him a picture. Picasso said ok, took out a pencil and paper and begin to draw. After a few minutes Picasso was finished and showed the man the picture. The man said how awesome and beautiful it was and asked how much for the drawing? Picasso said a million dollars. The man was taken aback and shocked. He said no way. It took only a few moments to draw that. Picasso responded but it took a lifetime to perfect my craft.
I got where I am today by experience, going to school, having mentors, and having people divinely placed in my path. All of these things plus hard work and what I call ‘want to’. There will be days that you will question everything about your journey and you will literally have to ‘want to’. Nothing can stop you when you really want to. I’ve been homeless, I’ve been a single parent, I’ve been married, I’ve been divorced, I’ve been sabotaged, I’ve been left hanging, I’ve had doors close on me, I’ve been left for dead, I’ve been betrayed by people I love, I’ve worked two and three jobs, but I’ve also been helped up, been given a home, found loyal people, found peace to continue, given major opportunities, I’ve had doors opened for me, money given to me, invited to exclusive places, and the list goes on. All you need is your ‘want to’ to be strong enough to finish the journey.
What I want the world to know about my journey is that it’s possible to have setbacks and still overcome to reach your goals.
I’ve learned actions really do speak louder than words. Either you are or you’re not.
I’ve learned the best way to live is to be grateful. On top today doesn’t mean on top tomorrow.
I’ve learned to listen more and speak less. The instructions that you didn’t hear or disregarded are the ones that cost you the most.
And finally I learned when God cares about your future He will send you a mentor. Mentors move you to purpose and destiny quicker because they help you avoid their mistakes.

Let’s say your best friend was visiting the area and you wanted to show them the best time ever. Where would you take them? Give us a little itinerary – say it was a week long trip, where would you eat, drink, visit, hang out, etc.
If my best friend is coming to visit me in Miami, here’s what our week would look like.
Day 1 we are going to Hazel’s Brunch Bar in Lauderhill, FL. My best friend loves ‘soul food’ and so do I. This hidden gem has some of the best food! And they have some awesome drinks too. Then we’d do one of the city tours and/or Biscayne Bay boat cruise. Its one thing to hear about the city of Miami, but to experience it is another. To end the day we would go to one of the best hidden spots which is WORLD FAMOUS HOUSE OF MAC for amazing Mac and cheese (lobster is my favorite) and the homemade strawberry lemonade is to die for. They even have a DJ in that spot spinning music while you eat.
Day 2 We are in the Everglades doing the Airboat Safari. We are looking at the wildlife (especially some alligators) riding in the tunnels. This is half our day. Then we’d hit up Pane & Vino. Their Italian food is amazing! I had the wheel of cheese among other dishes and loved it.
Day 3 We are going to rent bikes and go riding by the beach. We will grab some tacos from Mama’s Tacos who has some of the best tacos and then ice cream at the little ice cream shop Haagen-Dazs on the beach. Then later we are going to find our way to Monty’s seafood. Everything I ever ordered was amazing! Food and drinks.
Day 4 We would hit up the Superblue Miami Immersive Art Experience and then the cruise of the South Beach Millionaire homes. To end the day we would try the Little Havana Food walking tour. I’ve eaten Nicaraguan food at Yambo Restaurant in Little Havana which was amazing so I can imagine this tour with all of the other food spots should be yummy.
Day 5 I would take her for breakfast real quick to the Salty Doughnut to get my favorite maple donuts with bacon on top and a cafe con luche. Then off we’d go to the Key West All Day Trip that has lots of activities. I would try the parasailing and maybe the snorkeling but for sure the glass bottom boat tour.
Day 6 I would get some Starbucks in the morning. Then eat breakfast at the Red Rooster for some yummy shrimp and grits. Next, head to the SPA at the Miami Beach Edition on Collins Ave (Booked Well in advanced). Then off to the store and grab some food and drinks and do the private boat rental which leaves us on the water watching the sunset.
Day 7 – After church at Disruption Nation we would head to Nikki Beach (cuz we’re both single) for an amazing day of meeting new people, music, and great food.

Who else deserves some credit and recognition?
I have three (3) shout outs!! The first are my parents Chris & Rose Robinson. These two have been amazing in my journey. They have shown so much support on so many levels and made it safe for me to be able to explore and express myself while challenging me to be better and become the best version of myself. My second shoutout is to the Grace Chapel of the Coast now Grace Vineyard Church family in Oceanside, CA! When I was going through one of the toughest transitions of my life Pastors Ron & Kim Ohst and the Grace Chapel family made sure that I not only healed but regained my voice. And my final shout out goes to Dr. Juanita Bynum, Apostle Nona Parker-McKinzie, Apostle Paula A Price, Apostle Ron Toliver, and Apostle Ursula Wright. These five have been woven into my destiny in such a unique fashion and each had a role in building, repairing, strengthening, and solidifying. Dr Juanita Bynum who is superior in her field whose initial training allowed me to move to the next level. Apostle Nona Parker-McKenzie who I currently train under who has expanded my capacity to grow and learn. Apostle Paula Price, who is the author of the best selling book ‘The Prophets Dictionary’ whose classes and material revolutionized and expanded my thought process and set the ground work of becoming a ‘strong hold’ in my field of assignment. Apostle Ron Toliver best selling author who is responsible for some of my mentorship and tools for longevity. Finally, Apostle Ursula Wright who I now serve with who is a successful entrepreneur in Miami, FL who is strategist who owns her own school and has graciously given me so much insight and direction.
