We had the good fortune of connecting with Daniel Chocron and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Daniel, what role has risk played in your life or career?
Risk isn’t just about being cautious; it’s a driving force that motivates us to do things better. They say the greater the risk, the greater the reward. When we embarked on this project, we honestly had no idea of the income it would generate. I distinctly recall the first time we opened the doors of the warehouse, feeling a whirlwind of emotions, from fear to excitement. To me, it’s riskier not to try due to the fear of failure than to give it a shot.

Alright, so for those in our community who might not be familiar with your business, can you tell us more?
Tripping Animals Brewing is a craft brewery based in Miami, Florida, founded by four families who share a deep passion for brewing. What sets us apart in the craft beer industry is our commitment to pushing the boundaries of flavor and creativity. We’re known for our innovative and distinct beer recipes, creating unique experiences for our customers. We take pride in our commitment to the craft and the community, hosting events and activities at our taproom that bring people together over great beer.

Our journey to where we are today hasn’t been easy, but it’s been incredibly rewarding. We’ve faced challenges, like any business, such as managing growth and competition in the industry. However, we overcame these obstacles by staying true to our commitment to quality and innovation. We’ve learned the importance of adaptability and staying connected to our community.

What we want the world to know about our brand and story is that we are more than just a brewery; we are a creative force dedicated to redefining beer experiences. Our commitment to pushing the boundaries of brewing and creating a unique, vibrant community is at the core of our brand. We’re excited to continue growing, creating exceptional beer, and contributing to the craft beer culture in Florida.

If you had a friend visiting you, what are some of the local spots you’d want to take them around to?
South Florida is a remarkable place to be, and personally, I’m enchanted by the ocean. The sheer accessibility to the beach any day is simply fantastic. What’s more, the culinary scene in Miami is an adventure in itself, offering a wide array of options from all around the world. The diverse cultures that call Miami home contribute to an extraordinary gastronomical experience. If a friend were to visit, I’d make sure to take them to various beautiful beaches like Surfside and Hollywood. We’d indulge in activities like kayaking, fishing, and boating to the sandbar. Additionally, exploring vibrant neighborhoods like Calle Ocho, Wynwood, and Coconut Grove is a must for walking, sipping drinks, and savoring delectable meals. If time allows, a day trip to the Florida Keys or Naples to witness a breathtaking sunset would be on the agenda. And, of course, the craft beer scene, which has flourished in recent years with many exceptional places, would be a must-visit as well.

Who else deserves some credit and recognition?
In my journey with Tripping Animals Brewing, i am grateful for the unwavering support and encouragement from our families, the co-founders who stood alongside, and our dedicated team who tirelessly contributes to our success. Additionally, we owe a debt of gratitude to the thriving craft beer community in Florida and beyond, who have not only inspired us but also provided valuable insights and camaraderie. While there isn’t a single person or organization to credit for our story, it’s a collective effort that’s brought us to where we are today. Cheers to everyone who’s been a part of our craft beer adventure!
