We had the good fortune of connecting with Daniel Tabet and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Daniel, we’d love to hear more about how you thought about starting your own business?
Right place, right time. After graduating from Architecture school with our masters my (our) friend group started to enter the workforce starting multiple architectural adjacent firms. After locating a parcel in SW Ranches FL & recognizing the potential. I reached out to all our friends sourcing almost every aspect that the development needed. Seeing the potential for expansion we all went in, from Structural to Mechanical; Architectural to the General Contractor. We all bid in, & started the hard work. Without the front work put in from the team we wouldn’t have been able to get this operation in motion.

Alright, so for those in our community who might not be familiar with your business, can you tell us more?
As a Lebanese American recent grad without a pure direction, this was a bit of a tall order for the first serious project. Our first development is Grove Ranches, a high end neighborhood in SW Ranches Florida with four unique & bespoke residences planned to be released for sale. The second home in the neighborhood: the “B Residence” is the culmination of our experiences so far displaying our love for tropical modern architecture wrapped around a lush central courtyard, packed with high end home automation. We wanted our projects to stand out from the crowd by studying all the projects that make South Florida unique & displaying that through out our work. We’ve also taken the time to build our bonds internally creating a core team that we can trust to deliver something truly thought out & executed perfectly.

If you had a friend visiting you, what are some of the local spots you’d want to take them around to?
With such an interesting climate, it’s hard to go wrong with almost anything in the area. A burger & drink at the standard spa & hotel in Miami beach followed by a trip to the 1111 parking garage to look over the area is a great start. A motorcycle ride to helmet one motor co is also a great way to enjoy a coffee break & get inspired by the designs & layout; followed by a trip through the changes made to little river. A bicycle ride through Venetian way checking out the residences is also another good way to spend an evening landing at Mac’s Club Deuce for a drink. Also, a trip to Key Biscayne for a beach day or park visit is always a fun way to see interact with the area.

Who else deserves some credit and recognition?
Almost too many to count; this entire operation is thanks to the hard work & inspiration provided by my colleagues. From Cesar Charria at Echo construction lending his construction knowledge & experience to provide a portion of the credibility for the sales of the homes. Zalmy Meyer from Schism Architecture & Design for spending evenings with us to guide the designs towards something beautiful & inspired. William Arthur from WHAA for acting as a hands on mentor steering the projects through legal situations that we thankfully avoided. Edgar & Haydee from Aroid Greenhouses for providing the capital to keep projects afloat through tough times; & many other teammates that contributed to the development.
