We had the good fortune of connecting with Daniela Cordero and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Daniela, what’s the most important lesson your business/career has taught you?
The most important lesson my business has taught me it’s patience. Starting a new business is not an easy task and sometime we may get a little desperate or frustrated. But if you keep putting in the work and continue with your plan, things will go your way, you just need a little patience. Things take time to develop.

Let’s talk shop? Tell us more about your career, what can you share with our community?
I have always had an artistic side that took me several years to put into years because I was pursuing another dream of mine which is horse back riding. I dedicated most of my life to equestrian show jumping so it wasn’t until I went to collage later on that I discovered I had a talent for putting things together and making them look good. I always loved hosting at my house and having the food be part of the aesthetic. I started my business during the pandemic unintentional not even thinking it could ever turn into an actual business, but it did. Every time I have an event or an order I aim to please my clients and bring something different to meet their needs. I am constantly seeking for inspiration and how I can keep things interesting and different.

Any places to eat or things to do that you can share with our readers? If they have a friend visiting town, what are some spots they could take them to?
There are so many places and things to see in Miami, and I am definitely a foodie girl so my plans evolve around food. Places to visit would be the Vizcaya Museum and Gardens, explore the Wynwood Walls, the Everglades National Park, visit the Pérez Art Museum Miami, go the south beach and stroll through Ocean Drive, head to Lincoln Road Mall and walk around, walk around coconut grove. As for food there are so many amazing restaurants but if I have to choose I we say that a must are these places: Joe’s Stone Crab (one of my all time favorites), Boia De (which I tried a few weeks ago and it was amazing), for a nice Mediterranean vibe it would be Mandolin, Mister O1 for pizza, an Italian place called Mama that just opened in Brickell which I went to in New York and their truffle flatbread is just insane, Smith & Wollensky in Miami Beach is a classic for steak, and Osaka for some sushi.

Who else deserves some credit and recognition?
I am a one woman show, however it would have never been possible with the support of both my parents and my husband. They have encouraged me ever since I started and still keep we going whenever I get frustrated.
