We had the good fortune of connecting with Danielle Bailey and we’ve shared our conversation below.
Hi Danielle, any advice for those thinking about whether to keep going or to give up?
My mother always told me, “Life will throw you curveballs. You have to be prepared to catch them!” She was right! The curveballs of Life have taught me that goals may change; the GPS you’re using along this journey will always find a way to calculate a new route, but giving up isn’t an option! Each day provides you with a unique chance, an unexpected opportunity, and it is up to you to use the day wisely. The universe will give you precisely what you ask of it; ask wisely! You’re one yes away from changing your Life’s trajectory; there’s no room for giving up!
Alright, so for those in our community who might not be familiar with your business, can you tell us more?
I am the proud owner of Opulent Choice Tax and Business Solutions. My team assists with maximizing your tax refunds and educating you on ways to build your personal and business credit. Each time a client gives me a testimony on how their life changed because of something I said or did, I am joyous. Being persistent is what got me where I am and keeps me going to whatever adventure is ahead. No one ever said the business would be easy but waking up each day knowing I can be on call for those who matter the most is worthwhile!
To the world, remember, you’re deserving of all great things! I’ll see you at the top!
Any places to eat or things to do that you can share with our readers? If they have a friend visiting town, what are some spots they could take them to?
I am a sucker for great food and dessert, and BB’s Bistro food is fantastic, and their dessert is the BEST IN THE WORLD! If you are not a fan of bread pudding, you’ll leave a fan. If you’re already a fan, no other bread pudding will compare after your first bite. Their desserts are PHENOMENAL, but the bread pudding is a must-try! BB’s Bistro is our first stop for day one!
Day two will head towards Jacksonville Beach. We will first look at the model homes in “Tamaya.” Their homes are so beautiful, and when you walk through them, your imagination runs wild, and a pinch of fuel is added to your fire for the things you desire. Next, we’ll stop at the beach, get sand between our toes, and visit a few local beach shops.
On day three, we must Travel to the oldest city in the USA, St Augustine! While there, we’ll visit the oldest wooden school, Fort Matanzas National Monument, Ripley’s Believe or Not, squeeze in a ghost tour, and go to the best gas station in existence, Buckee’s! Buckee’s has the best beef brisque sandwich I’ve ever tasted!
On day four, we will have to make our way to Sweet Pete’s for a candy-making tour and class. Afterward, we’ll take a walk across the Acosta bridge in hopes of seeing dolphins. Then take a walk through the MOSH museum.
On day five, we will see beautiful art and gardens at the Cummer museum. We’ll grab a quick bite of Asian cuisine at Hawkers and end the night on the rooftop of Black Sheep Restaurant.
For the remaining days, we’ll go where ever the wind blows! We may end up in St. Johns Town Center, where we can shop and fine dine in the same area.
Shoutout is all about shouting out others who you feel deserve additional recognition and exposure. Who would you like to shoutout?
Several influential people deserve credit for my story. God First; without Him, I’m nothing! My four children, two of which have sickle cell disease. Living my life on call for them makes it impossible to give up or look back. My aunt Cynthia Paul is one of the best businesswomen that I know. She’s helped me organize my chaos and always finds the time to put in winning positions. Whitney Phillips is a brilliant soul that has poured selflessly into me in this business world. And Cherrie Patrick, the only one I know that had my name mentioned in a prayer journal, speaking life over into my business and finances.
